This unit is located on the edge of Waikiki, in the perfect location to escape the fast pace of Waikiki, but still just minutes walk to the middle of it all. The condo is located 5 to 10 minutes walk to the world famous Waikiki beach, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ala Moana shopping center, bars and restaurants (Cheese Cake Factory, Dukes, Hard Rock Cafe, Cheeseburgers in Waikiki, Starbucks, Subway, the famous Eggs and Things, PF Changs and many more). Great location.

Great Location! It's that simple.
The condo is nice, clean and large enough for 4 people. Nice view of the canal. The downside is, that there are only 3 bath towels and no wash cloths and there were 4 of us. Very limited in dishes and silverware. The love seats are comfortable but are shedding brown pieces of vinyl on your clothes and your skin. They really need to be replaced. Not sure why they didn't replace them when they remodeled the unit. The vacuum cleaner does not work. Overall, I would stay here again. Oh, the pool was disgusting. Doesn't look like it has been cleaned in ages.
Four of us rented this property from December 28/14 until Jan 4th. The location is great and a very short walk to the beach and stores in Waikiki. The property is very clean and is great for 4 people. The condo has had some recent reno work which was great. The sofas we a bit old and really showing their age. If light bothers you, you might need some blinders as the window treatment was not very good and could use a proper replacement. The kitchen is well equipped and great for making meal and saving some money. We did not find the towels to be very good, so you might want to bring your own. Laundry is on the same floor and easy to use. There were boogie boards and snorkel equipment available for us to use. Many stores and shops close by to get some food. No real grocery stores in the area, but higher priced ABC stores nearby. The parking onsite is great too if you have a car as parking is hard to find.
The only negatives we found that it is extremely noisy as the location is near a major intersection. If you are a light sleeper you will need ear plugs. The windows are glass panels that crank to open and close and do little to stop noise.
All in all it was a good rental and although we did not meet our host, Monica was very sweet to let us stay the whole day as we did not fly out until late at night. I would recommend this property for 4.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the condo. It has been updated and is clean. It was smaller than I thought but suited 2 couples just fine. The location is great. You still out the front of the building, take a left and you are in downtown Waikiki! If you are looking for a quiet spot, this is not it . Waikiki is crazy and the sirens are non stop. It didn't bother us though. The view from the deck is great and perfect for people watching. The condo is nicely equipt with most everything you need. A large bowl would be nice for mixing salads, but we managed. There are boogie boards, beach towels and other things for the beach for your use. That was nice. We rented a vehicle and left Waikiki most days to explore. If you didn't have a vehicle you would be fine as everything you need is within walking distance. Overall I would say we had a great stay. I'd recommend this place to family and friends!
Ps. The only downside was the pool. It was really dirty. We spent all our time at the beach though, so it didn't affect us much.
Great condo for the price! Awesome location close to groceries, restaurants, shopping, and an easy 15 min walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again if back in Waikiki. The condo had everything and was very clean. Overall, we had a blast and enjoyed our stay!
The description and photos of this unit were very accurate. The property was clean and we found it to be very good value for our money. Monica was helpful and responded quickly to our questions. The location was very good. We were able to take long walks along the canal as well as being close to the activities on the beach. It was a short walk to the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton Village and we enjoyed the food at The Cheeseburger just across the street from the unit. Many other restaurants were also in close proximity. We went without a car for 10 days and did not miss it. I would return to this unit as well as recommend it to a friend.
We were very impressed with the care that Monica had taken in renovating and equipping the suite. Everything was clean and well represented by the photos in the listing. There were plenty of dishes, linens, and beach accessories as well as two TVs and an air conditioner, which was useful in drowning out the ambient noise of a very busy corner. We found the proximity of the #2 bus stop useful for sightseeing.
Only one bathroom created a bit of a traffic jam at times. We were also worried that having an outside door which didn't need a key to lock would have made it quite easy to get locked out. A phone for intercom use would have been helpful.
