Thank you for your hospitality and going the extra mile to show that this can be like a second home. We will be coming back when we decide to have another weekend away. Thanks again, Greg & Lindsey
P.S. she said yes!
From the moment we walked into the condo and saw the fresh flowers, we knew we had found our home away from home! The place was immaculate and well furnished with everything one could possibly need ... right down to paper clips, sticky notes and a stapler on the desk! It also included an ample storage area!
We had rented a car, but we could have managed easily without one. The location was near both the Max and the Streetcars so we could go everywhere by Portland's wonderful transit system. The Pearl District was an easy walk tho we could have also used the transportation. During our time in Portland, we enjoyed day trips to the Coast, the wine country, Mount Hood, numerous breweries, Multnomah Falls and Hood River. We attempted to immerse ourselves in the city and all it had to offer. However, at the end of the day we loved returning to the comfort of "home," putting our feet up with a glass of wine in hand, and enjoying the incredible views of the city from "our" condo! Thank you Damion and Shauna! By the way... We have already reserved again for 2015!
Thirteenth floor, great space, outstanding views out over the city and on a clear day mountains Hood, Adams, and St. Helens with Rainier on the horizon; clean lines and all that is needed for a stay, long or short; perfect for walking the west side of the city from rose and Japanese gardens to the neighborhoods. Just right for the two of us for our two plus months.
Great location. Easy walk to downtown, up the hill a few blocks to the Elephant,
over to Trader Joe's or the Pearl. The tram to downtown or PDX is a block away.
The apartment was clean and well kept. Dish washer, washing machine…the works and it all comes with a great 13th floor view over downtown Portland.
Mr. Harper had a great time in Portland.
He was very comfortable at the apartment and would use it again if ever in Portland.
The unit we rented was fantastic. Location was exceptional, close to public transport. Building has 24/7 concierge and they are good. We were there about 10 weeks and they not only opened doors, booked car service when needed, arranged maid cleaning ...
The unit was very clean and exactly as shown in the pic. The temperpedic bed comfortable.
There is a really comfortable chair called "perfect chair" I fell asleep to many times in that chair.
There are sufficient kitchen set up if cooking is important but we didn't cook much other than breakfast. The night we seared fish(Halibut) we noticed the unit was not vented which was a shame but that defines the area. No biggie.
Damian is a good owner host. When we needed anything he was available.
Is rent here again. In fact we might look at something more long term.
This is a spacious downtown studio condo, with views of downtown and Mt. Hood. Great location within a few blocks of everything - parks, theaters, shopping, groceries, etc. 100 yards to Max light rail. The only thing that could have improved my stay was if I could have thrown a party for my Portland friends there! I rented 3 different NW Portland condos during a 4-month work detail. This one had the MOST COMFORTABLE bed. I'd stay here again for several months! Very clean and light. Underground parking. Owners are nice.
Just out your front door you have access to Max and bus transportation. Across the street is Jeld-Wen Stadium where the Portland Timbers MLS practice & play. Just up the street with in Washington Park is Oregon Zoo, Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, summer concerts and miles of hiking trails(40 acres). Across Burnside St. is 'Nob Hill' & 'The Pearl' where you'll find shops, restaurants and bars. Old Town/China Town has the Chinese Gardens & Portland Saturday Market, the longest running outdoor market in The World where you'll find handmade arts & crafts, food and music.
