Our 80-acre property has beautiful vistas, rolling hillsides, plenty of peace & serenity, and no views of neighbors! It offers hiking trails through our wooded area and tree-covered roadways. We are close to the beaches, wineries, Hearst Castle, Spanish missions, restaurants and nearby shopping such as Trader Joe's, Target and outlet stores.

The Country House can accommodate 16+ guests. The Country House rental also includes usage of the 2,000 sq. Ft. Event Barn!

This totally private Country House has 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. It is 2,400 sq ft and has a fully equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators, cookware, small appliances, serviceware, dinnerware, silverware, glasses & utensils. The house also boasts a large screen flat HD TV, VCR, DVD player, and Dish Network satellite receiver with 500 channels. High-speed wireless internet is provided. Sleeping mats are available for additional sleeping space.

The adjacent 2,000 square foot Event Barn is equipped with 4-monitor speaker commercial sound system & a large projection screen, TV, DVD player, and a Dish Network satellite receiver with 500 channels. Wifi is available throughout. It has 2 gas fireplaces and plenty of open space for your special gathering. Tables and chairs are available for use.

Extra guests? Please contact us regarding possible RV PARKING: $65/night and limited TENT CAMPING: $15/person per night with home rental.

This property is owned and operated by the Center for Reuniting Families, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. On November 15, 1994, the Center for Reuniting Families was incorporated as a non-profit educational organization with the following purpose: To establish and maintain programs providing both teen-oriented and adult assistance to educate and encourage choices that are positive for the individual, family, community and for the greater stewardship of the earth through experiential exercises and to develop a teaching institution disseminating educational material to the public. In addition to our core goals, at Dancing Deer Farm we provide a venue and shared resources to other non profit organizations who address the challenges of creating ecologically and economically vibrant and healthy families and communities. Through these collaborative efforts, CRF is a center for education, research, and demonstration to develop strategies for a sustainable future.

With the coast only a 30-minute drive away, you can easily visit the beach for surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, and parasailing in Morro Bay, Cayucos or Cambria. And just north of that, visit the elephant seals and Hearst Castle in San Simeon!

If you are here during the summer months, the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles is always a favorite activity, and easy to get to at only 8 miles away! Head south 30 minutes into San Luis Obispo for more central coast fun, including hiking some of the Seven Sisters of San Luis Obispo - our famous peaks of volcanic remains!

We have hot springs just a few miles away, and on site healing practitioners offering a variety of healing modalities, so if you'd like to ensure your stay is relaxing and rejuvenating, we've got you covered!

And if you like good food and good wine - this is the destination for you! With nearly 200 wineries in the county (two are directly across the street from us!), and a farmer's market almost every day, your taste sensations will be pampered and nourished! You are even encouraged to visit our 1-acre organic garden, talk to our farmer interns, and sample some of our seasonal harvest.

If lake activities are your thing, it is a short drive to several area lakes: Santa Margarita, Nacimiento and San Antonio. Enjoy fishing, camping and boating activities!

Take some time to appreciate our state's history with visits to some of the original California missions - Mission San Antonio de Padua, Mission San Miguel Arcangel, Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and Mission La Purisima Concepcion are all within driving distance.

Family Reunion

What a fabulous place for our family reunion. There were 28 of us from newborn to 90 years old. 26 of us stayed there so comfortably. The property was perfect as it is so peaceful with plenty of room to walk, hike and wander. People moved easily visiting, playing, and just being. The Barn was such a wonderful space for our 90th birthday celebration. The energy is so good and loving that it added to our family's love.
The kitchen was perfect for preparing food for that many people. It was in use all day as different people made meals for themselves and their own families, then for the entire group.
The owner, manager and staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a few questions and they answered them in a timely manner and took care of anything that we needed. The property was clean, well-maintained and well stocked.
I would highly recommend this property for large groups to have a gentle, easy time together.

Most Amazing Family Holiday!

We recently stayed at this amazing property. There were 17 of us, including 7 children and 10 adults. There was so much room, and so much for the kids to do! I never once heard the dreaded "I'm bored!" The grounds are beautifully kept and the view was breathtaking! We saw deer and wild turkeys on 3 out of the 5 days we were there, right from the deck. We explored the area and found many great things to see and do. There just really is not one negative thing I could say about this holiday destination. From the time we got there until it was time for us to go, it was by far the best time we could have hoped for. We are planing to return next year!
