Come visit our Arizona vacation home nestled in the foothills of the Estrella Mountains. Our 2,000 square foot, ranch style home is located in the award winning master planned community of Estrella Mountain Ranch. We are far enough from the traffic and crowds of metro Phoenix to allow you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful Sonoran Desert.

Our open concept design is professionally decorated and appointed with all the comforts of home (and more). We have 2 bedrooms plus a den and can accommodate 4-6 people comfortably. The great room features a stacked stone hearth with 52 inch TV. You'll love the warm glow of our gas fireplace on those crisp desert evenings. A large dining table provides seating for 6. Oversized sliding glass doors provide access to the covered patio, pool, waterfall and hot tub.

The fully stocked kitchen has natural mission style cabinets and additional dining for 4. The master suite features a deluxe king sized tempur-pedic mattress, glass shower and roman soaking tub. Sliding glass doors lead to the backyard oasis where you'll find yourself enjoying those famous Arizona sunsets. The secondary bedroom has a pillow-top queen mattress. A convertible sofa in the den provides additional sleeping accommodations.

We are surrounded by miles of hiking and biking trails. Troon Golf-Estrella, an award winning Nicklaus designed golf course, is a 5 minute drive. We are 10 minutes from Phoenix International Raceway and the Goodyear Spring Training Facilities (Winter home of the Reds and Indians).

About The Owner

I was raised in Glendale and have lived most of my life in the Valley of the Sun. I currently live in Indiana with my husband and dogs. We love to get back to Arizona every chance we get.

The Owner purchased this house in 1999
Why The Owner chose Goodyear

We love the wide open spaces of Arizona. Our home is close enough to the city that we can enjoy the theater, culture, fine dining and shopping but far enough away to be able to hike, bike and see the stars at night.

What makes this house unique

Walking, bicycling and rollerblading around the lakes; enjoying the many outdoor festivals and farmers markets during the cooler months; SWIMMING and relaxing by the pool; Lots of SUNSHINE; hiking the numerous trails; exploring the many sights of Arizona; GREAT GOLF.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very roomy and included everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for relaxing after spending the afternoon at the ballpark. The owners were great to work with. What a wonderful home in which to spend time with old college friends!

We enjoyed our week at your well furnished, comfortable home in Goodyear. Although a bit out of the way, it was accessible to major highways and grocery shopping as well as restaurants. This is a beautiful area of Phoenix and away from all the traffic and congestion of the city. We enjoyed the fireplace as it was a bit cool. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the sun by the pool on warmer days. We would highly recommend this home as a rental.

We rented this place because of the other great reviews and it was totally worth it. YES the owners were great to deal with and YES the place was absolutely CLEAN! I couldn't believe how much we felt at home within minutes of getting into the house. We spent most of our time in the beautiful pool and hot tub and going for walks around the quiet neighbourhood. The scenery of Estrella Mountain is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and we can't wait to come back.

Winter Vacation spot

This place is fantastic!! Heather and Dave are wonderful to deal with- very prompt in replies and answered all our questions. The house and yard/pool area are exactly as described and very clean. The house had everything we needed and tons of space. Heather allowed us to bring our dogs from Canada for some February swimming and they had a blast in the pool. Heather was even able to recommend a dog sitter so we could go to the Grand Canyon for one day. The house is a little out of the way but easy access to all major highways and we had no problems getting around for shopping, dinner and tourism. For hockey fans, the stadium is only 20 min. For shopping, anywhere from 10min to an hour to the outlet malls. We will definitely make plans to go back!

Totally recommend this property !!

This is our second time staying at this lovely property. The location is perfect, the house was very clean and very comfortable. The heated pool was the best because the evenings were cool when we went and the swims were beautiful in the heated pool. The owners are absolutely amazing to deal with and very accomodating. We look forward to next year when we will for sure be renting again. Thanks again ... it was great!!
