You can enjoy the island using over 25 miles of bike paths. It has good fishing, boating and many delicious restaurants on the Island. Great relaxing destination from the big city life.

Loggerhead Cay # 151 is a ground floor, Gulf front condominium located near where the causeway ends up at the Gulf of Mexico. The complex prides itself with its beautiful landscaping and is located at the east end of the island, not far from the fishing pier and lighthouse. Loggerhead Cay is ideal for families with children, as it offers many entertaining activities for children, such as: large heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffle board courts and a recreation facility complete with kitchen and B-B-Q gas grills. The facility can be reserved at the Loggerhead Cay office for large group get togethers, such as family reunions.

As you enter the condominium, you experience the spacious open kitchen, dining room and living area that is furnished with island appeal. Guests enjoy an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico.

The condominium has two bedrooms, large closets and two full bathrooms. It has a king sized bed, two twin beds and a queen sized hide-a-bed. The master bedroom and living areas face the Gulf of Mexico where you can hear the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.

For your convenience, we have free long distance,HDTV, and high-speed internet/WiFi at no cost to you. We all love our pets, so we welcome your pet with a $250 non-refundable pet fee. The property sleeps 6 people comfortably and was updated in 2013. I spent over $50,000 to update it, new heating/AC system, new kitchen, new hot water heater, new living room furniture, new beds, new carpet, new linai furniture, new are rugs in living and dining room, and three new flat screen TV's/DVD players in the living room and both bedrooms. HDTV and HBO and SHOWTIME movie channels at no cost.

We had a great vacation in Sanibel. We were blessed with great weather and fishing the entire trip. 151 was a great location with a beautiful view of the gulf, even from the first floor. Being on the first floor made it convenient for us to come and go to the beach or pool. I think your building is the best in loggerhead. We were very happy with the cleanliness and level of comfort inside of your condo. We slept great every night on the nice mattresses.

Great location; average property

The location can't be beat--being ground-level and just a minute walk to the beach and the pool was perfect with kids. The condo itself is just okay; two stars at most. All furnishings and appliances are cheap and flimsy, aside from the sofas which were very comfortable. The master bedroom door is actually two regular doors hung as sliders, which offer very little actual privacy and felt as though they were constantly in danger of falling off the track. The second bedroom has a door to the outside--opening up a few steps away from the parking lot--that's not shown in any of the photos. Thankfully, my kids didn't investigate that too closely but it made me very uncomfortable. When we arrived, the unit smelled unpleasantly like urine. We couldn't figure out if it was from a cleaning product, pesticide, or actual urine, but it did fade after a day or two. We live in a city and are pretty used to critters, but finding multiple dead or dying, 2-inch-long palmetto bugs every morning was unpleasant. We would go back to Sanibel in a heartbeat but would look to stay elsewhere. I really don't like writing poor reviews, but I was disappointed in the quality of this place, particularly given the owner's emphasis on how much he recently spent on renovations.

Owner's Response: I am very sorry that this guest was unhappy with my home away from home. If you read the other 34 reviews, you will see that they had a wonderful experience in my gulf front condo and that is why my condo has a "5 Star" rating and the has so many repeat renters. I take a lot of pride in my condo. That is why my management company attempts to contact each guest on Monday morning following their Saturday arrival. I also attempt to contact each guest myself. Neither my management company or myself were able to contact this guest. I wish the guest had contacted myself or my management company so we could have addressed any concerns. The door in the second bedroom and the door going into the master bedroom was part of the original design of each condo in the complex. The beds, heating/A/C system, hot water heater, washer/dryer, refrigerator, toaster ad Keurig coffee maker are all new. I wish that this guest had contacted myself or my management company so that we could have addressed their concerns.

Superior property, wonderful vacation getaway spot

We are just back from a 3 week stay . This condo is located right on the beach in a beautiful very well maintained, well run condo complex. The condo itself is clean and well maintained because the owner wants to keep it in superior condition. Jim (owner) contacted us shortly after our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything at the condo and after our stay was over he called to solicit our comments and suggestions for improvements. It is very nice to have such a concerned owner. We have stayed at this condo the last two years (2014 & 2015) and have made our reservation for next year (2016). We love this spot. The complex is in a quiet part of the island and is quiet itself. It has a beautiful courtyard with a wonderful pool. We enjoy sunrise breakfasts in the Lenai that faces the beach. We love that we can just walk out this ground level unit for a stroll on the beach or a bike ride on the great trails around the Island without having to wait on an elevator. We have stayed in several other condo in the Logger Head complex over the years, but this is best. I am very happy we found this condo/owner.

Great condo and area!

This was a great condo!! Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The owner was very helpful to provide information about the area. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the lanai with the ocean view. It was a very short walk to the beach which is a shell paradise. As this was a pet friendly condo I was able to take my little dog and go for walks on the beach. The entire area is very pet friendly and I could take him to the outdoor dining also. It was a wonderful vacation for us.

Clean, well maintained and a short walk to beach.

Very quiet September stay.Bottom floor unit has easy access to parking, beach path and pool. Unit was clean and well maintained. The open floor plan was roomy and the screen porch offers unobstructed views of Gulf. Property is also well maintained and offers huge pool, tennis, courtyard and grilling area with many recent upgrades. Beach area is great with a short mile and a half walk to lighthouse.Owner takes interest in your needs and does everything to ensure your stay is going well.The best condo for our family that we have found in over 15 years of Sanibel Island vacations. See ya next year!

Great condo!

Our family loves Sanibel Island. This was our first stay at this condo. The view from the lanai is beautiful and the first floor location is very convenient. The beach is a short walk and so is the pool. The condo is nicely decorated and has everything that you need. We would definitely rent this condo again.
