The Hut on Grand View is our home away from home and would like to share it with you when we are away. We are very centrally located - just 5 minutes away from Main Street on foot, 2 minutes away from the park and only 20 minutes by car to Whiteface Mountain. The Whiteface Shuttle stop is only 500 yards away. The pharmacy and grocery are just a stone's throw away by car. Despite being centrally located, our neighborhood still maintains its peace and tranquility.

Our home has two bedrooms for our guests with one full bathroom. Each bedroom can sleep two adults. The cozy living room which has a furnace, can sleep another adult on the sofa bed. All bedrooms, living and dining room is fully carpeted. Our kitchen and dining room are well-equipped if you desire to have your home-cooked meals. The sunroom is newly renovated with cedar walls and brazilian cherry wood floors.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Whether you are an avid winter sportsman, golfer or iron man (we are only a 5-minute walk from the starting line of Iron man), all your sports equipment can be stored safely and securely in the first floor of the house, the entry of which also serves as the mudroom. The laundry machine and dryer are located in the first floor as well (garage level). The first floor conveniently connects to the indoor 1-car garage. This is perfect for keeping your vehicle away from rain or snow during those nasty days. In case you have more than one vehicle in your party, our property has extra parking spaces just right in front of the house that can accommodate 2 vehicles.

We have a modest home with all the comforts of home and we're sure you'll love it!

Great home in Lake Placid, in walking distance to Main St. Home is fairly new, and kitchen is well equipped (much more than typical rental home). Very nice living and dining area for warm winter evenings near stove. Owners are very helpful, and easy to deal with. Looking forward to go back,

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful stay, too bad it was so short. The hose is cozy and very clean, very well appointed and organized. We really appreciated the garage and basement layout, where we were able to safely store our bicycles and gear. The street is very quiet too. It really feels like home away from home.

This was our first time renting a home in Lake Placid, and we were very pleased with the accommodations . The house is nestled into a quiet neighborhood. Moreover, it is just minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants and activities. The cleanliness is superb and if you enjoy cooking, the kitchen will not disappoint you. This home provides a welcoming ambience and is equipped with everything you may need while spending time away from your home.

The owners are some of the nicest people we have met. They have truly tried to provide a house that will feel like your home away from home.

As we will be in need of lodging in this area quite often, we will definitely be repeat customers.
