Reflections of TLC, located in a resort community, utilizes the entire first floor of a 2 story home. There is approx 1000 sq ft- all laminate flooring. This was a custom built home in 1995 with unique architecture. There are 3 outside areas of seating for reading or relaxing or eating. The flower garden has seasonal blooms as well as a little view of the ocean through the trees. Bird feeders are tended year-round for the many varieties of birds frequenting the home. Pine trees are abundant and the home is positioned on a hill in close proximity to a Tsunami Evacuation SAFE level. The patio is private with a 'chat' table seating for 4 and a large grill to use for meals.
The driveway will allow 2 cars to park easily. There are a few steps at front entry while the back/ side patio door is a one level entry. The drive may be used as a 'drop off' for people with limitations in stair use. The laundry room is on the mid entry level. The bathroom is large enough for a walker assist access and the stool is of elevated height. There are grab bars in and out of the tub and toilet area. The bath is a tub/shower combo with moveable shower head handle. There are double doors to the king bedroom from the living room and the bedroom also has a sitting area. The sofa bed room/den/play area has pocket wall doors to create a private room. A portable electronic keyboard is available to set up for music playing.
The kitchen has updated appliances, double sink, as well as a double oven and full size microwave. The dining table will expand to seat 8. Upon request, special holiday dish sets available for your use. Family December holiday time would be perfect. We decorate for the season. Basic cooking ingredients are provided: oil, sugar, spices etc. Paper products are supplied for your entire stay. Quality towels, beach towels, and bed linens are provided and stocked in unit. Rental Laundry is done by owner but you may do your own personal laundry when you wish.
Pets also have their own blankets (a comforter pet bed is cleaned after each guest pet's use) and towels. Outdoor hose wash faucets are at front entrance and side yard. Bowls and bowl mats are provided.
It is a short walk - about 4 minutes to the Tolovana Park Beach; a small market, bakery, Mo's and other restaurants. A shuttle to other areas of Cannon Beach has a regular schedule and is at the Tolovana Beach access entry. We are close to many activities whether it be north or south of the home.

The owners are semi retired from Iowa. Two adult daughters still reside in Iowa. Ralph is an Environmental Engineer and Toni a retired Registered Nurse. Gardening, beachcombing, collecting, quilting, scrapbooking and photography have been major hobbies. They have had Labs and Miniature Schnauzers for pets.
We chose this area to retire at and continue working for its overwhelming beauty and close access to the beach, woods, and all coastal activities. We saw it as a semi retirement dream for work and recreation. We live in the upper level of the home with private entry and the first level as a licensed complete rental space with 2 private entries.
The spacious first floor rental has many amenities; snacks, tea and coffee offerings. Stock food items, spices, etc are provided. It is in the beach decor as well as subtle holiday time theme decor. Specific type may be requested if given notice without charge. Flowers are always provided at the table and key areas according to season. Guests have private access to the patio and other yard areas.
Kite flying at beach. A five minute walk to the beach on a paved sidewalk. Minutes to Cannon Beach Shuttle at Hemlock and Warren Way to Cannon Beach shopping.
