3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Sleeps 8

This is our personal vacation cabin. We've had this property for 23 years. In 2005 we tore down our old house & built this cabin. The view is amazing. It's the most peaceful place you'll ever be! It sits atop a mountain that you easily access from Hwy 321. No long, windy road. It is Very private. No 'cabin community' with 50 other cabins on top of you. If you're looking for what the mountains are all about this is it!! It is located 15-20 minutes outside Gatlinburg. You get the true taste of the Smokies here. It sits directly across the street from the National Park. The 15 mile Old Setters Hiking Trail is at the bottom of the hill. The most raw, natural, untouched part of the park is just minutes down the road. A few miles in the opposite direction is Greenbriar. This is one of the most beautiful rivers in the park. You can swim, tube, fish, picnic, hike, butterfly watch or ride thru. I admit, I'am biased, but I believe this is the best cabin in the Smokies!

Easy access from the interstate so traffic is nonexistent. Perfectly secluded, peaceful and quiet, yet, only 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Across the street from the National Park so access to hiking, fishing, picnicking, bike riding. Two and a half miles from golf resort.

...close, yet quiet and private...

Heather, just wanted to take a quick moment to let you know how much we enjoyed our experience at your cabin. First, the location was ideal! Not far from downtown Gatlinburg and at the same time very private and quiet......from our experience of many, many years of renting cabins around Gatlinburg..... that is a very rare combination.....close, yet quiet and private! Second the views are outstanding! Seeing all those mountains snow capped was just stunning! Thirdly, the type of construction of the cabin and the decor of the cabin made it feel like a great get-a-way! Lastly, the cabin had everything anyone could ever want including a great kitchen, a beautiful outdoor fireplace, great porches to enjoy the outdoors,comfortable beds and even a washer/dryer if needed. We will most certainly be back and would highly recommend the cabin to anyone!

Great View, Wonderful Fireplaces

Wow, although the pictures online portray a beautiful cabin and view they definitely don't do this place justice! Our stay here was wonderful. The cabin was very clean and decorated nicely....made you feel right at home. The view...oh my it was breathtaking!!!!!!!! As soon as we arrived I couldn't believe that WE got to stay here for 3 days, because it was so beautiful! We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the wood burning fireplace inside. Made the chilly nights more comfortable. Plenty of wood provided for the fireplaces to keep you warm, which was a nice touch. This cabin has everything you could need plus some! We were allowed to bring our dogs which was great. They truly enjoyed their doggie vacation as well, and was much needed for them too! We went to downtown G'burg a few times. Our favorite place to eat is Bubba Gump Shrimp....they have the BEST shrimp ever...really its amazing! Also if you are into wine, don't forget to stop by Sugarland Cellars. They have some of the best wine I've ever tasted! Free tastings too! We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted a nice relaxing vacation in the Smokies, with an amazing view and privacy atop a cozy lil mountain. Thank you again for sharing your cabin with us!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

MORE LIKE HOME THAN A RENTAL CABIN

We loved the cabin! It was so nice having the desk with the sunshine but also having the option of the shaded screened in porch when the sun was a bit too hot. We loved that it was at the end of the road. It gave so much privacy! Having a bit of a yard was nice too. The view was wonderful. I love how the moutains look different every few minutes. Location was perfect. We were able to avoid the traffic issues and enjoy the mountains without all the tackiness.

The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything that we needed.

The only negative that we came up with at all was that there was no closet in the master bedroom. Maybe add a wardrobe so that we could hang up our clothes? It wasn't a bit deal for the couple of days that we were there, but if (when) we come back for a week it could be an issue.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. It felt more like a home than a rental cabin.

GREAT SECULDED CABIN!

We had a blast! The cabin was very easy to get to, and the Location was great! 10 minutes from Gatlinburg, and it had an amazing view into the mountains. It was super cozy, comfortable, and secluded, which was a relief since most cabin communities have cabins snugged in together. You basically sit on top of your own plot of land in this cabin. Highly recommended!

Perfect Fall Family Getaway

This cabin was just what my family needed for a few days away. The cabin had beautiful views of the fall colors, was remote enough to feel relaxing, but allowed easy access to the Greenbrier section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and fairly easy access to Gatlinburg.

During the days, we played in the mountains or in Gatlinburg, and at night, we ate at the cabin, built fires in the outdoor fireplace, and watched movies together in the family room. We hope to return on a regular basis!
