Quiet vacation
We had a very nice mini-family reunion at Serenity. The house is very nice and was stocked with all the odds and ends that we found ourselves needing throughout the 4 days we were there. The inlet was very quiet, we barely heard any boats the entire time, only catching the occasional fishing boat trawling around. Someone decided that the neighboring dock needed to be disassembled while we were there, and the workers carried on into the night (we think their van got stuck trying to pull out an over-filled trailer) but nothing to ding the owners about. There aren't a whole lot of bathroom doors in the house, and the toilets are almost in the closets of the master suites (big spacious closets!), but there's plenty of space for modesty as well.
The kids liked the kayak, thanks for allowing us to use it!
