Semi-retired couple from Maryland. Purchased home in May of 2009 and spent the entire summer renovating and updateing the house. After many years of visiting to enjoy the numerous golf courses and beach, we finally purchased a home. We enjoy bringing the family to Cape Coral and may some day retire there. Until then, we will offer our home for rent when we are unable to use it.
We love this location because of the easy access to so many activities: golf, boating, fishing, beaches. We love our neighbors in this quiet, safe community. They watch the house and keep in contact with us when we are back in Maryland. Sanibel Island is so great for shelling. No one comes home empty handed. Fort Myers beach is a wonderful place to lunch while watching the ocean. There are so many activities available in the area that no one is ever bored. We enjoy just lounging on the lanai and watching the fish jump in the canal. Very relaxing!
Just upgraded 2014 to a salt system for our pool. It is much healthier and feels and smells so much better than chlorine
