IN THE HEART HISTORICAL CHEVY CHASE! WALK TO RESTAURANTS ETC.

This home was located perfectly for our family in a quiet and nice neighborhood. The pictures were very accurate in describing the home. We loved the location - It is walking distance to great eateries, specialty shops and grocery stores. Behind the UK campus and a nice walk to the Arboretum for morning walks. Sightseeing places are very close as well. The house is very clean and inviting. We felt at home and had plenty of space to spread out. The backyard is nice with a large deck for entertaining and relaxing. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked and dining area was perfect size for a family gathering. The bathrooms were clean and the house overall was very well kept. It made our Lexington visit quite comfortable and convenient to get around. The eateries around the area were all within a block or two away and they were really very good and had a good mixture of cuisines. We would recommend this to families with children and those who are seeking a nice place in a charming area. The owners were very easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. They were also very positive about suggestions to make their home more comfortable for future guests by adding some minor details that we found would be very nice to have in addition to what they already have. They appreciated our feedback and notes about their home. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit Lexington.

I can't stress enough how perfect this place was for our recent trip to Lexington for the Bluegrass Stakes. Jeff, the owner, was super helpful and responsive leading up to the trip. You can literally walk about 100 yards to everything you need. Drug store/pharmacy, liquor store, Starbucks, several nice bars and restaurants. It's a really cute little neighborhood. Also, if you happen to be going for a UK football game, it's only about a 10-15 minute walk over to the football stadium.

The house inside has everything you need. A newly appointed and clean kitchen. 3 full bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. The master bathroom is especially impressive with a stone shower, two sinks, and walk in closet. We never used the backyard or deck, but they looked really nice.

Keeneland is only about a 15 minute drive away. We also visited the Woodford Reserve Distillery, about 35 -40 minutes away.

So whether you are visiting UK for a sporting event, going to Keeneland, on the Bourbon Trail, or just enjoying Lexington, I can't recommend this place enough. My only reservation is that if too many people find out about it, I won't be able to rent it when I come back!

Two families, 4 swimmers and 2 Moms, stayed for the weekend. Great accommodations, close to the Aquatic Center on UK campus, adjacent restaurants and shopping; fantastic option to cook, relax and sleep as if you were in your hometown.
