Ties as best house for our family in 15 rentals!!!

The house is everything it is represented to be. We loved the way it is laid out. Immaculate. We have two couples, one with a 6 year old, and myself, the Mom, and there was plenty of room for each to have our own space. Lots of community areas, except I was annoyed that so many stayed in the theater room all the time! Used the wine cooler, the fire pit, and the charcoal grill. A special surprise was the great condition of the ping pong table and rackets. So often in rentals these are in poor condition and not worth using. We had a little difficulty finding the house and I'm so happy it was daylight. We kept the local custard stand in business, every 8:45 pm we would load in our cars and I will not admit how much we consumed. I still can't eat any custard. I understand Lake Laura is beautiful, but you have to be in good condition to get to it. As Grandma, I didn't even try. Of course I also got to sit on the great covered patio and read while they swam and sunned. The pool was great. No interest in any of my family in golfing. Miniature golf opened a brief time in middle of day at the hottest hours so unfortunately we didn't play. WE SAW A MOMMA BEAR AND THREE BABIES as we were on the way to Cave Ridge Winery. Apparently even a lot of locals have not seen bears. We went far afield for activities - Fox Meadow Winery in Linden, a marvelous park with life sized reproductions of dinasaurs about an hour plus north (just past Houlihans Restaurant - oh yeah). Toured the RT. 66 potato chip factory. Some of the best mountain views we've seen. If someone travels with a dog they will find an amply sized fenced area for it. But the best part was coming home to Woodside.
