The 'Lakeview' has it all. This charming home is surrounded by tall pine trees and water. The huge green yard includes a magical peninsula. You won't have to go anywhere to be entertained.

Sit on the large deck and enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake. The sunsets are amazing. Fish off the dock, sit by the campfire.

Inside the 'Lakeview' :The open concept of the kitchen and living area leaves no one out. Three recliners and the large sofa seats 6+ comfortably. A TV in the livingroom and in one of the bedrooms.

The kitchen is stocked with everything that makes a house a home. The bedroom area provides privacy. Each bedroom has a full size bed, dresser and closet. The livingroom sofa also pulls out to a full bed.

Crisp linens and towels are provided.

You'll find board games, decks of cards, reading materials, area information and maps.

Outside in the 'boathouse' you'll find outdoor games, frisbees,etc.. That's also where the life vests in all sizes are found.

A charcoal grill is provided with grilling tools. Near the house is a patio table w/chairs & umbrella. Deck and lawn chairs are also provided. You'll love the cedar double-seated swing!

Great for swimming, with a swimming ladder on the dock.

What more could you need for the perfect summer vacation in the beautiful Northwoods?

The quiet, rural road is also a designated walking and bicycling route. It's also an designated ATV route to access the Recreational Tuscobia State Trail.

Lots of parking space in the driveway for trailers. Unload the ATV's and hop on the trails right from your door.

A beautiful Pontoon, fully equipped for a great day on the lake fishing or relaxing included with your stay. Fishing boats w/motors and kayaks are also available for rent.

The price for a week stay without the pontoon is $1400.00

With the pontoon, only $2100. for a week of pure fun in the Northwoods!

Mike & Lisa Windsor, of Windsor's Vacation Home Rentals, own this beautiful, one of a kind, property.

We have been offering this charming home to families for over 8 years now. We go beyond the norm to make sure our Guests have everything they need to have the perfect, summer vacation in beautiful Northern Wisconsin. Both inside and out, our Guests enjoy the well maintained location, fully equipped and set up for fun in the Northwoods!

As the Owner's we take great pride in providing an extraordinary vacation place. We enjoy the wonderful comments, the smiling faces, and in many cases, making new friends with our returning Guests.

As Windsor's Vacation Home Rentals, we personally own and offer another home on Lake Winter, we call the 'Musky Lodge'. We also offer two more, privately owned vacation homes in Northern Wisconsin. The 'VIEW' on Round Lake, near Hayward, WI and the 'HIDEAWAY' on Barker Lake, near Winter, WI.

Why Lisa Windsor chose Winter

Lake Winter is a 675 acre, 3 miles long, scenic lake. Well-known for its great fishing from musky and walleye to panfish. It is a very peaceful, quiet lake, mainly used by fishermen, pontoons, paddlers and swimmers.

The friendly Village of Winter is just 2 miles away. You'll find groceries, gas, sporting goods, banking, a library, a park, visitor center and more!. Many annual events are held throughout the year. There are many great places to eat in the area as well as attractions, museums, golf courses and more.

Just a 30 minute,scenic ride away is the well-known, Tourist destination of Hayward, WI. Many more fun things to do and see are there to explore.

What makes this house unique

The Winter area is the 'Heart of the Tuscobia State Trail'. A 72 mile railroad grade winds through the woods. Many other well-maintained trails branch off to take you as far as you want to go. Snowmobile in the Winter, ATV throughout the year, right from your door! Many fun places to stop along the way. Trail Maps are provided.

Pleanty of trailer parking in the large driveway. Direct access to the trail from your door.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Regular Cleaning is Included. No Lodging Tax.
  • There are no hidden charges. Your rental rate includes all the amenities including a paddle boat and a row boat.

    $1400. per week during summer months. Adults (and children over 10 years old), over 6, add $100.00 per week, per person. 8 maximum.

    Off-season= 2 night minimum. $200.00 per night.

    There is no lodging tax here. There is a 5.5% state and county sales tax. Regular cleaning upon your departure is included. (Regular-means no out of the ordinary or extra cleaning is necessary) We have a clear, easy to follow check out procedure posted for our Guests to follow.
  • PONTOON RENTAL- by the WEEK ONLY during summer months. (June, July, August)
    $700.00/week plus gas. (plus 5.5% sales tax and $100.00 refundable damage deposit)
    Fall/Spring DAILY PONTOON RENTALS- $125.00 per day plus gas.

    14' Fish Boat with 15hp motor- Daily or by the week.
    Per Day= $55.00 plus gas
    Per Week= $275.00 including 6 gals. gas.

    2 User Friendly KAYAKS-
    Daily= $20.00/day for 1 OR BOTH for $30.00/day
    Weekly= $60.00/week for 1 OR BOTH for $100.00/week

So much to do - great for all ages!

"The Lakeview" kept us occupied- fishing right off the yard, riding our ATVs on the trail just feet away from the house, paddleboating, kayaking, playing volleyball in the yard, roasting marshmallows - then we slept like babies at night because it was SO quiet!
We woke up to birds chirping in the trees and loons calling on the water. We also saw otters swimming, an eagle perched on a tree outside our window, and a blue heron catch a fish!
The Windsors were exceptional hosts - they provided campfire wood, fishing tips, and were at our beckoning call for anything - even when one of our ATVs wouldn't start!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Best Fishing Ever!

Rode the ATV's 600 miles! Never caught a fish after fishing in Wisconsin 25 years until we came here! 50, plus. Our biggest. Great bike riding and hiking, beautiful roads!
