This particular unit is located at the foot of the Marina. It faces due East with unobstructed views towards St. John, while letting you watch the marina action. See when the fishermen come in and walk on down to buy your fresh fish! It also allows the breezes to blow directly into the unit, as winds in St. Thomas come from the East. Yes, it is at Sapphire Beach Resort condominium. Many you see under this section are NOT at Sapphire Beach Resort. They are the older and less desirable Sapphire Hill Village or Crystal Cove units.
This does have a great AC system should you choose to use it. This location is just a minutes walk to the huge and wonderful sandy beach and pool on property at Sapphire. It has its own private parking area not shared by the other buildings, so you can park right next to the unit. Being on the second floor, it provides extra security over the ground floor units and also provides the height for a better view.
The arrangement consists of a king sized bed and desk in the 'master' area. There are four large wood sliders that separate this room from the living room (if you choose to use them). The 'main room' has a glass dining table with four chairs, brand new sofa (with convertible queen bed) and two additional chairs. A full kitchen stretches length-wise along one of the walls. A large entertainment center with the flat screen TV, stereo, and DVD is in the corner. Two large sliders open to the porch, which hosts two comfortable chairs and a table for your afternoon cocktails. The bathroom, with full tub, is located near the entryway, along with a full sized closet for storing your clothes and suitcases so they are out of the way. There is also a working safe in the closet for your valuables.

This property has an incredible beach, but even more intriguing is the waters just off of it. It holds great snorkeling, coral, fish, and wildlife. It is just a two minutes drive to the quaint town of Red Hook, which has shopping, restaurants, bars, and ferry access to St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
There are countless activities on property, particularly because you are right at the marina. Fishing, sailing, powerboats, jetskis, parasailing- you name it. The island itself has even more, with excellent shopping, great restaurants, hiking, and nightlife.
This unit is also available for time frames of longer than one week, and I will offer good deals with people for multi-weeks and/or monthly rentals. I love Sapphire because it has the beaches and boating in one location, combined with incredible views facing the prevalent tradewinds. It is also close to Red Hook for nightlife and restaurants.
This unit is much nicer than most others you will see. It has some brand new high quality porcelain tile that looks like travertine / marble. It is extremely clean and has just been freshly painted in a very light yellow color, so it is not the stagnant and boring white on white like the other units. I am on island to deal with any issues immediately, which is a HUGE advantage over other rental properties on VRBO where you have absentee owners and managers.
