WOW...This is the place!

OK folks, just listen. I spent 3 days looking at over 500 properties in search of the perfect place to spend a romantic weekend with my Huni Buni. Wow...this is the place! I found it ironic how it was the first property I looked at and for some reason I was drawn back to it constantly. Feels like home. Cozy and quaint. Larger than it looks. 5 miles from Walgreens and the heart of Gulf Shores. Comfy furnishings. Laid out well with bedrooms on opposite sides of the home. Room for more than one in the kitchen and bathrooms. Quiet. Peaceful. Serene. Perfect for one or two couples and a couple of kids if u have them. We so enjoyed lounging on our little private beach watching the sunsets and storms roll across the sky. The lagoon beach is not very sandy as there are various local grasses growing at the waters edge, but the local Fort Morgan beach is just a couple of miles past the cottage. Fantastic, and not too crowded compared to the crowded beaches at Gulf Shores. If you are budget minded, compare your lodging costs at the Sleep Inn in Gulf shores (the cheapest hotel I will stay at on the beach) and you may see what I did. Privacy! And for that luxury I will gladly do the tiny drive to the hustle and bustle of what Gulf Shores has to offer. Martha, the property manager is excellent returning emails and answering questions. She is polite, professional and when we met at the cottage, she showed off her great sense of humor. Wished we could have talked to her longer, but there was so much to do, right? :) If an issue did arise with the cottage (none did), she assured us she was just three houses down. Now that's customer service! OK...now for the nitty gritty. If your under thirty and looking to booze it up and slam it down for a few days this is not the place for you. Find someplace on the beach that will welcome your kind. Believe me, there are hundreds of places looking for folks like you. This little gem should be preserved! Its awesome. The little lagoon cottage to us was a REAL BLESSING. I pray it remains that way...because we're coming back! Its our home away from home now on. Thanks to the property owners for opening up our home to us, and again, a special thank you to Martha. She rocks!
