Steps from our door is the historic St. Charles streetcar line that can escort you to the University area located uptown, or downtown to the French Quarter.

Within blocks of this location are tons of salons and spas, (Belladonna Day Spa), award winning restaurants (Commander's Palace), fresh caught seafood (The Big Fisherman), movie theaters (Prytania Theater), live theater and stand-up comedy(Le Chat Noir), cold beer (The Bulldog), live music (Tipitina's, Les Bon Ton Roulez), book stores (Borders), pool halls (Balcony Bar), bloody mary's (Igor's), margaritas (Superior Grill), mojitos (Bridge Lounge), martinis(The Columns Hotel), wine by the glass (The Delachaise), casinos (Harrah's), sushi (Sake Cafe), Mexican (Juan's Flying Burrito), brunch (Palace Cafe), vegetarians (Whole Foods), museums (Ogden, WW II), liquor stores (Martin's Wine Cellar), grocery stores (Breaux Mart), Audobon Zoo and Park, Saints and Hornets!

We loved this place! It had everything we needed, from fresh herbs to a great entertainment center, to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment is so cute. It is clean, very well equipped and the bed, oh my, so comfy. The neighbors are friendly and very quiet. There is a lovely potted garden with seating in the outdoor spaces, one with shade. Also must mention that the location is awesome, convenient, safe and right off the streetcar line with easy access to the French Quarter or Audubon Park and Zoo in the other direction There is a wonderful grocery market just across the street on St. Charles Ave. and the best Seafood Market in the uptown area is only a few blocks away on Magazine St. The parking space is tight but perfect for a compact car, which is better anyway if you plan on driving around the uptown area as it can be quite tricky to navigate. This condo is much more comfortable than a hotel and a great price too. We will plan our visits to New Orleans from now on around the availability of this unit as it is the perfect home away from home for us.

COZY AND CLEAN

We appreciated the location near Fresh Market, the St. Charles line and that it was not far from Tipitina's. It was a comfortable, user friendly apartment with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The bed was comfortable enough for me, but too soft for my travel partner with a bad back. Brandon and his wife were very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The only complaint we had was that you could hear the next door neighbor's TV and stereo late at night and in the late morning. With our late schedule and exhaustion finally kicking in, we didn't notice it as much as we did the first two nights. All in all we enjoyed our stay! By the way, the BBQ grill is a small charcoal one… we left some charcoal there, so make sure to double check if you need to get more before planning a night of grilling. Having a laundry facility was key for our long stay. Very helpful. Thank you Brandon!

P.S. Not once did we see a roach in the apartment! :-) And for that I was very happy!

GREAT LOCATION AND WELL APPOINTED

This small, but more than adequate one-bedroom condo was in a perfect location. A block to the St. Charles Street Car, Fresh Market across the street, indie film theater 5 minutes away, and off street parking! Brandon and Larissa were delightful to meet, were quick to respond to any requests/comments and when we had a minor glitch with the shower, it was repaired within hours. Can;t say enough about the property, the management of it and the location. We hope to return for another month next winter.

PERFECT!! EXACTLY WHAT WE HAD HOPED FOR!!

Brandon and Larissa were extremely helpful through the whole experience and Larissa was waiting for us when we arrived. The condo was clean, comfortable and very well equipped and the location ideal. Loved the Garden District and Magazine Street, all a short Streetcar ride from the French Quarter, absolutely the best of all worlds. With grocery stores, coffee shops etc close by, it was all great. Would recommend this condo and would stay here again.

PERFECT VACATION SITE IN THE GARDEN DISTRICT

My wife and I chose to stay at this vacation condo in the Garden District for our Christmas holiday in New Orleans, and could not have been happier with the visit. The owner was there to meet us on our arrival (and helped guide us in by phone once we got to the Garden District), and provided a lot of good tips for shopping and dining in the immediate vicinity. The kitchen is very well furnished so cooking when we wished was easy to do - and there is a great grocery store less than a block away. The TV and cable setup with on demand movies was a great bonus. The shops and restaurants on Magazine Street are a short walk away (and for restaurant recommendations on Magazine, we greatly enjoyed Mayas and Amici Pizza), and the Charles St. streetcar is just out the front door, so the location is incredibly convenient.
The unit was very clean and well maintained on our arrival. The unit is not large, with just two main rooms, but we are used to this on travel and so it was perfect for our stay. We will definitely try to book this again for our next visit.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Branden and his wife were communicative and met us at the property with the keys and condo instructions. We were impressed. They were organized and welcoming. The condo was well equipped and cozy. 1 block to the streetcar, quiet and a nice parking space. Friendly neighbors. Easy walk up to floor #2. We would stay there again!
