This log home sitting on top of a most amazing ridge is testimony that relaxation and peace is here right Now. You will enjoy the quiet, solitude, the peace and the views are absolutely stunning. You can see these views from inside the newly decorated home, by the crackling fire, from the bedrooms, and from the wrap around deck. Entertaining, cooking steaks on the gas grill and relaxing outside are just a few of the activities that await you. This home is well appointed with everything you need for your getaway. For the more adventurous, try the 20 minute steep trail down to the massive waterfall which is on the 5 acres this log home sits on. This property backs up to 100 + acres of pristine untouched forest. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are just a short drive away - 15 min. Easy drive to Black Mountain, Biltmore Estate, Downtown Asheville, and Downtown Hendersonville.
We loved the cabin and had a great time! My mother-in-law is 93 and she absolutely loved the scenery, the house, everything! We hope to come back sometimes. :-)
P.S. The bear knocked over the garbage can last night, but we didn't hear or see him! :-)

We just came back from a few days at Infinity Ridge and our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! This was a very last minute trip and we really felt like we lucked out! The pictures and reviews seemed great, and it was all true! We were there with our 6yo twins, and we all had a wonderful time. The cabin is just beautiful and truly felt like a home away from home. Not just a rental, but truly a place where you know the owners come on a regular basis. It had everything we could have asked for, a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, great deck and porch... The wide open views of the mountains were absolutely beautiful at any time of the day! We loved watching the sunset on the porch... We felt totally alone there, no sounds except for the sounds of the waterfall and of the birds. So peaceful and relaxing!
We hiked down to the waterfall the day we arrived, it was a fun adventure and was definitely worth it, but it truly was very steep! It would have been hard with younger kids than ours.
We loved hiking at Chimney Rock State Park, the views are really beautiful! Don't miss the hike to the waterfalls! We also went fishing on Lake Lure at Morse park, our kids were very excited to go fishing for the first time! We did a day trip to Asheville and it was great to explore. There is also a great hike only a few miles from the cabin at the end of Shumont Dr: Eagle Rock. It only took us about 15 min to hike up there and you can climb up some big rocks for incredible views on the mountains. And we didn't see anyone else, which was great!
The only thing that i would have liked to have is maybe a small binder/folder with some recommendations from the owners on places to visit, best restaurants in the area, maps, etc. There were a few brochures, local magazines, but it felt more like a random collection, which I think was more from various visitors leaving some brochures. We added a few to that collection as well! This was our first time in the area and since it was a last minute trip we hadn't done any pre-planning. We picked up brochures and maps along the way, and did some internet research once there, and that worked totally fine, but I always love to know what the locals recommend, have so maps, brochures etc to look so when you arrive.
All in all a wonderful trip and the perfect cabin if you really want to relax yet be close to a wide variety of options for day trips. We all said we would love to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay
We were in NC looking at properties to move here in the future. The cabin was cozy and I could sit on the deck and look at those views forever! very inspiring. The mountain roads are a little challenging though!!!
Trying to judge if a place is as nice as it is portrayed through pictures on the Internet is a challenge. I can tell you this place is nicer than the pictures look. It was everything we hoped for and more. The view is absolutely wonderful and can be seen from the living room, the downstairs bedroom, and the upstairs bedroom (so no one gets left out!). The owner was very nice and responsive to our needs. He even responded to text messaging. The waterfall on the property is very nice, but you really need to be in shape to get back up the steep hill. Going down was a breeze however! :)
The cabin is approximately 30 minutes from Henderson and 10-15 minutes from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Both Chimney Rock and Lake Lure were beautiful. We took the pontoon boat ride from Rumbling Bald was excellent (you can see reviews of the different rides on TripAdvisor—it recommended the Rumbling Bald ride). We enjoyed the shopping in downtown Hendersonville as well. We took a side trip to the Biltmore (about 40 minutes travel time). That was well worth the money.
We like to eat out and when we first go there we were just thinking Hendersonville was where we would likely end up eating, but we found the restaurants in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure to be good as well. Our favorite was Medina's Bistro, but you need to call and make reservations.
We had a fabulous time at Infinity Ridge! We found the cabin to be a wonderful getaway. We enjoyed it so much we barely ventured out! The deck and back porch are wonderful to enjoy the fantastic view and just relax. We ventured down the very steep path to the waterfall- beautiful! The cabin is very well stocked and equipped with anything you may need during your stay. Li is great to work with- fast responses and answering all questions.I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back! Only negatives for us was that we couldn't stay longer...
I'm always a little nervous renting or booking a property I've never been to before; sometimes photos and/or reviews are misleading. NOT SO with this place. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kid) - cozy, but with plenty of room for everyone. It felt like home immediately. It was well-appointed, but not stuffy. I didn't have to worry about the kids breaking something every 3 minutes. Well-stocked with condiments and basic foods, but word to the wise: go to the grocery store in Hendersonville before checking in so you don't have to go back the next day!
I agree with the other reviewers about the view: the photos don't do it justice. When we arrived it was sunset, but since it was high summer, the mountains were still visible even past dusk. We all just sat there on the porch drinking in the view before we even unpacked. I loved it so much that my husband made me a photo collage of our time there for Christmas!
Location is perfect - Blue Ridge Parkway (not to be missed: Pisgah and Mt. Mitchell were an easy drive, as were Linville Falls and Looking Glass Falls), Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, Brevard and its many waterfalls, the list goes on. All of it was an easy day trip from this wonderful cabin.
The private waterfall was a bit dangerous when we were there, as there had been flooding in the area, but if it had been a year with average rainfall, it would be a lovely spot to wade with the family. It was perhaps doubly impressive in flood stage. The trail is a little dangerous, especially for those with small children, but my little mud monkeys had a great time going up and down it (mine are 8 and 11).
Li was extremely easy to work with, and responded to my emails with any little question on the same day I sent them. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a vacation free of crowds, lines, and traffic. It was heaven!
My fiancé, our Australian Shepherd, and I stayed at Infinity Ridge 12/28/13--1/4/14 and we already miss the place! We had such a good time at the cabin and the surrounding areas of Asheville and Hendersonville that we are actually considering moving to the area in the next few years. Li was very easy to work with and we would love to rent this cabin again.
You will not find a better view than the one this cabin has. The photos are not only accurate; I don’t think they do it justice! Gorgeous view of the mountains from the living room, master bedroom and upstairs bedroom as well. There is a back porch with rocking chairs and a hammock and also a very large deck on the side of the cabin that both overlook the amazing views. It is a western view so you get amazing sunsets!
The cabin itself was decorated beautifully and felt very welcoming the minute we walked in. The bathrooms and the kitchens were well stocked. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, grilling on the side deck, and sitting by the fire. We were there late December/early January so it was a bit too cold to enjoy the back porch and side deck as much as we would have liked. Every morning and late afternoon we would bundle up and take our dog on a long walk around the area. There is a stream that runs parallel to the road that has several waterfalls. Half-way through our week long trip it snowed at the cabin and it became even more beautiful than before!
The only downside to the cabin: The road was tricky going up the mountain (easy going down) the first few times but we got used to it towards the end of the trip. The road is paved and gets cleared of snow and ice regularly but it is just so steep with some blind curves. It is very narrow with almost no shoulder and going up the drop-off was on our right side. We are from Florida and were in a huge rental minivan so we weren’t used to the mountain roads at all. We arrived the first day close to sun-down in the pouring rain so that was a little scary but once we pulled up to the cabin it was well worth it! The locals of course were flying up and down the mountain with no problem! My advice for your itinerary would be to stay in the first couple of nights until you are comfortable with driving the road during the day. Save going out at night for the second half of your trip! I don’t mean this as a deterrent, just some advice to make your stay at this cabin even better!
Thank you for the amazing experience!
