Entertaining, cooking steaks on the gas grill and relaxing outside are just a few of the activities that await you. This home is well appointed with everything you need for your getaway. For the more adventurous, try the 20 minute steep trail down to the massive waterfall which is on the 5 acres this log home sits on. This property backs up to 100 + acres of pristine untouched forest. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are just a short drive away - 15 min. Easy drive to Black Mountain, Biltmore Estate, Downtown Asheville, and Downtown Hendersonville.

The convenient getaway my wife and I needed

I have nothing but good things to say about the property and it's owner. We arrived to a very clean, welcoming cabin that has an amazing view. There is a small waterfall close by that provided some mild adventure for our family (wife and dog). The cabin is convenient to town and also convenient to Asheville. My wife and I decided to travel to DuPont State Forest to see some of the waterfalls, which were nothing short of breathtaking. The property is managed by the owner. He was available upon request and promptly returned my emails and phone calls. Excellent service, and thanks to him for sharing his little slice of paradise!

We Loved the Cabin!

We loved the cabin and had a great time! My mother-in-law is 93 and she absolutely loved the scenery, the house, everything! We hope to come back sometimes. :-)

P.S. The bear knocked over the garbage can last night, but we didn't hear or see him! :-)
