Kee-oo-wah Cottage is a cozy, new four-season beachfront home on Lake Sunapee, N.H. The sandy beach extends gradually out into the lake to a raft shared with the neighbors. A canoe, rowboat, and 2 small kayaks are available. Beautiful sunsets over one of the cleanest lakes in the USA cam be enjoyed from the unscreened porch. Minutes away are a fine supermarket, health food store, farmers market, restaurants, free band concerts, Mt. Sunapee for hiking and skiing, golf courses and tennis courts. The Barn Playhouse in New London is a wonderful summer theater. And the Hay Estate's gardens, trails, and historic home is just up the road. Hanover is about 30 minutes away along with the Montshire Museum in Norwich, Vt. - a hands on children's center.

Notes: Kee-oo-wah Cottage is situated on the East side of Lake Sunapee, so we get beautiful, Southwest breezes off the lake. We use fans every once in a while. Every bedroom is equipped with its own fan. Our porch and balcony are open to our magnificent view over the lake We share our sandy beach area with another family cottage and have an open view of the lake, unobstructed by docks or piers. 2010 marks the first year of our brand new Kee-oo-wah Cottage, totally updated but still retaining its cozy, classic cottage 'feel'. It is light and airy with plenty of windows and modern bathrooms. We do not usually supply linens and towels; but if you must use ours, there will be an extra charge for that.
