The beauty found in this area, is only a small portion of what this cabin has to offer. We are a luxury property for those who expect more. This three story cabin has five bedrooms (two master suites and three queen bedrooms), three full baths, two dens each with their own stone fireplace and a game room with a billards table and foosball. For your outside enjoyment, there is an eight person hot tub, fire pit (firewood furnished), picnic table and a charcoal grill. Brookwood is located on two acres with several trails for exploring. The brooks located on the property offer the most wonderful sounds. The area is wooded and quiet with scenic views and nature all around. Our wrap around porch has plenty of seating to sit back, relax and have fun with family and friends. Main floor is equipped with ramp for easy unloading . Parking for 6 cars. Close to Appalachian State, skiing, tubing/ziplining, golf, rafting, fishing, Grandfather Mtn and many other attractions

Main Level: The main living area features a two story stone fireplace, flat screen TV and sitting area. The kitchen has granite counter tops, new appliances, table and bar area and plenty of storage. There are two bedrooms located on this floor. One has a queen bed and the other room has two queen beds. One of three bathrooms are located on this floor. This bath has a shower with a bench for those who need easy access. The washer and dryer are located on this floor. The large wrap around porch has scenic views, rocking chairs and a ramp for easier loading and unloading of groceries and those that can't manouver steps, etc.. The fire pit, picnic table and barbecue grill are located just off the ramp.

Upper Level: One of two large master bedrooms are located upstairs. It includes a king bed and sitting area. The bathroom has double sinks and a full shower and tub. The second bedroom on this floor has a queen bed.

Lower Level: This floor has a second den which includes an additional stone fireplace. There is a DVD/TV, games and a table for four. In the adjoining room you'll find the game room with flat screen TV, pool table and foosball. Located on the lower floor is the second master bedroom with king bed and sitting area. Outside the den double doors, you'll find the hot tub, which is a favorite of all guest. While enjoying a soak in the hot tub, you're surrounded by woods and nature at it's best.

Our cabin is located in a new subdivision that will not be found with mapquest or GPS. The closest address to us would be the Willow Valley Resort and Golf Course located at 354 Bairds Creek. From here, the cabin is located up the mountain approximately 1/2 mile.

Other Activities: Brookwood Cabin to Downtown Boone-5 miles, Blue Ridge Parkway & Blowing Rock-7 miles, Valle Crucis-4 miles, Banner Elk/Beech 17-20 miles

Notes: Enjoy good times around the fire pit, picnic table and barbecue grill area. Firewood is furnished. We have three brooks that run along the cabin which can be heard daily and seen in the fall. Driveway and home offer plenty of parking for six cars and is not steep. Kitchen is well equipped including a roasting pan & crock pot. Linens and towels are provided. Their is weekly trash service available at the cabin for your use.

Great times! Loved the vacation and everything about this house. Our family and friends fit just perfectly. The hot tub was fun especially when it was snowing-very cool!
Enjoyed all the kitchen supplies and it was nice and clean! Loved that! The gameroom was great and kept the kids occupied. Porch was pretty with nice views. It was truly an awesome vacation and we were so glad that your cabin was available.

Our trip was a couples retreat. Some of the things we did was ski, laugh, hot tub, cook, sang, danced and enjoyed this beautiful house. Our fondest memory was having a bon fire while snowing. Thank you for sharing your home!
