This brand NEW Studio Suite has a Queen bed and a Premium Single Bed (sleeps up to 3 comfortably). Its kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances & granite countertops complete with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender - everything you need to cook a feast at home. The red oak floors gives it a warmth, cozy & homy feel and the combination of natural light & light dimmers can set just the right mood. The bathroom is spacious and includes toiletries, towels, hairdryer and iron. The Suite's decor, like our others properties, is Warm, Simple, Serene yet Modern & Trendy with pops of colorful Indian Folk Art in the mix.

It also has 42' LCD TV, Cable & High Speed Internet Access for work, entertainment or school.

Hi there,

My name is Mario. Allow me to tell you a little about myself and our projects. I'm originally from Peru but had the great fortune of growing up in South-East Asia (India, Nepal & SriLanka). I have since traveled far and wide; too many countries to name them all. I received my BFA in Dance Theater from the University of Florida which only increased the traveling for a few years. I now reside in New York City, co-manage SanctuaryNY, take a dance class whenever I can, and love meeting new fellow travelers (and I still travel a lot).

Why Mario Cornejo Negron chose Lower East Side

Some years ago, a group us (artists, entrepreneurs and world travelers) sat down to brainstorm. The idea was to find a way to provide travelers an alternative to the often impersonal and priced up accommodations found in New York; SanctuaryNYC was conceived and the rest is history.

Over the year we have hosted guests from all walks of life (musicians, business owners, families, dancers, actors, writers, honey-mooners, wedding parties, photographers, fashion designers, UN representatives, doctors, travel bloggers, yoga groups, chefs... etc).

We chose the East Village of Lower Manhattan because of its creative vibrancy and diversity along with its user–friendly travel connections to any part of the city. Whether you are flying from half-way around the world or driving just a few hours to New York City, each visit has the potential to bring new inspiration and valuable lessons into our lives. SanctuaryNYC facilitates this experience by offering an affordable, peaceful and stylish accommodation for the traveler in need of a calm, retreat-like experience.

SanctuaryNYC is also active in helping the local East Village/Lower East Side community. We fund 'Food for Life @ Tompkins', a local out-reach project that serves fresh FREE meals to our neighbors in need 3 times per week.

Bonjour à tous,

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine à NY au Sanctuary Stanton du 4 au 11 Octobre 2012. Les chambres sont très bien décorées, grandes et l'Hotel est tout simplement très bien situé car proche de tout (Metro a 5-10 min à pieds)! A retourner à NY, nous retournerons au Sanctuary Stanton sans problème !

With my wife we gone in NY, at Sanctuary Stanton in Octobre 2012. All was perfect, Hotel is wonderful, Subway at 5-10 mins foot. Rooms are so cute and big ! Really perfect ! When we will back in NY, we will stay again on this place ! (Sorry for my English).

Stayed here with my wife in the fall of 2012 and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was super clean and comfortable and the location close to the subway was perfect. Great breakfast (even for us Europeans) and would definitely stay here again!

Being a female and traveling alone, I wasn't sure about staying in the Lower East side for my 3 week stay int the city, but it turned out to be great. I loved walking to China town to eat at my favorite restaurants or to get some yummy bubble teas. The apartment is close to several schools so the area is very safe. The subway is just a few blocks away. Don't miss the wonderful Gelato place on Houston. I finally went to it my last day in the city and have been kicking myself ever since...I could have bee enjoying their plethora of flavors for 3 weeks!

I couldn't have a asked for a nicer apartment. It was clean and inviting. The kitchen has great appliances and the decor of the whole apartment was new and really well thought out. The cable and big flat screen had a very clear connection and the WiFi was fast and efficient. The staff were all GREAT, always willing to help. When my family came to visit me the staff was very helpful to accommodate them. I also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning! If you need a laundry mat during your stay, there is one just down the block.

I would definitely consider staying at Sanctuary Guest Suites again!

I've been going to the Sanctuary Guest House for 6 years in a row. I love this place, convenient, clean, nicely furnished, comfortable and more. The staff is just amazingly nice and accomodating. You make a very good choice if you there.
