TROPICAL BEAUTY, PRIVATE POOL, OCEAN VIEWS, GATED LUXURY

You know how you hope that online photos and descriptions are in reality as good as they appear? This home is even better in person and the photos are gorgeous on their own so this compliment is really saying something! The owners are fabulous and we couldn't have asked for more genuinely caring landlords. The home is larger than it appears in the photos and 5 adults (me, my college age daughter and her boyfriend, andmy highschool age daughter and her best friend) had plenty of comfortable space. The location couldn't have been better - away from the hustle and bustle for quiet family time yet only a 5 minute or so drive to stores and action! We were also able to walk to Alii Drive although we are all in fairly good shape! Realizing I'm gushing, however the owners also provided boogie boards, coolers, beach towels, bikes, snorkel gear and the outdoor grill is nicer than the one I have at my house! Ocean views all around and I saw my kids parasailing from the house! I couldn't of course see them personally however it was them because they confirmed they saw our house and waved while parasailing by. Selfishly, I kind of didn't want to say how great this home is because I'd like it to be available for rent the next time we visit Kona. That said, the owners and their house are so great I had to share! I honestly can't think of anything we needed that wasn't provided. Thank you for a great vacation in the house of our dreams!

We had a party of 5 stay here; 3 of which were our kids and it was very roomy. This residential neighborhood was very private and quiet. The front and backyard had expansive views of the ocean and the sunsets were just spectacular. The landscaping at the home was very tropical and immaculately maintained. There were many highlights to our stay, but the one we will remember most is having our own private pool in the backyard overlooking the ocean and having a barbeque. The home itself was immaculate, like a suite in a resort hotel. All of the amenities we needed were here, even a boogie board and some snorkeling gear. The only thing we needed to do was shop for groceries near by and we were all set for the week. We even packed light as we knew we could dump a load of clothes in the washer/dryer. Driving into the main part of town in Kona was just a minute drive away. All in all this was better than a resort hotel for us, much less expensive, and much more private and the perfect vacation for us. We will absolutely stay here again.

We were two couples that stayed in this wonderful home for 2 weeks this past winter. The setting is gorgeous and the home is beautiful---two master suites (plus a third bedroom) and a wonderful kitchen. The property is beautifully landscaped with a great view of the ocean. It's located in a quiet, gated community but just a short walk into town. The house is obviously well-maintained and we found everything in excellent condition. We would certainly recommend this home to anyone traveling to the Big Island.
