Waipouli is located in Kapaa, You are centrally located on the Island. Shopping directly across the street, Safeway, Long Drugs, Ice Cream Store, Panda Express, Starbucks, Papaya health food and many more. The bike path is very close and there are many areas to walk. The Aveda Spa on the property is state of the art. Th pool is beautifully designed with three jacuzzis. The beach bar and restaurant is wonderful, very convenient and a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset with a beverage. You can order food while sitting by the pool. Towels for the pool are supplied. There are two bar-b-ques in the pool area for all to use. They are cleaned daily. There is a concierge in the lobby to help you plan your fun trips to see the sights on the island. The municipal golf course in just a few minutes away. Several fine golf courses on the island.

Oceanfront unit with spectacular views: If you are looking for the dream vacation in Hawaii and want to see and hear the ocean out of every window this is the place for you. It is magical. Often when the trade winds are up you can sit on the balcony and view the kit surfer for hours right out in front of our unit. You will be situated on the third floor and experience complete privacy and quiet. Directly out side of the G building at Waipouli is the Nature Preserve, which consists of a beautiful lawn with native flowers and then the sandy beach and warm blue water. This is what guarantees your peace and quiet. Waipouli was built with attention to detail. All the finest appliances were put in the kitchen, sub zero refrigerator and freezer, wolf glass cook top and oven. You will love the Fisher Paykel double drawer dish washer and GE profile microwave. The granite counter tops with tumbled marble back splash complete the working surface in this state of the art kitchen.

There are two master suite bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other a queen bed. The sofa in the living room makes into a queen sleeper. We have a crib for an infant. There are two showers and two comfortable tubs to soak away the sore muscles from all your activities during the day. If you like to lay in bed and read you will find the lighting adequate. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with many channels available. All units have central air conditioning and of course the elevators. The pool area is a wonderful lazy river design with two water slides, a cave and three water falls. The sandy bottom jacuzzi are really great, very large and comfortable. Attached to the pool is a sandy bottom area for the toddlers to play in. Just the perfect depth for the little ones. You can enjoy a wonderful lunch and dinner by the pool or at the beach bar. It is beautifully furnished. Enjoy a cocktail watching the sun set.

There is a spa on the property, 'Spa by the Sea' 808-822-2171. There is a small gym area to work off a few pounds or just take a walk around the property on the paths or along the beach. Conveniently across the street is the Safeway, Starbucks, Panda Express, Papaya the local health food store, a local Hawaiian Restaurant, Longs, Cold Stone Creamery, Jabba Juice and many more. Just u the road is the Coconut Market Place with many shops and a theater. You can go into Kappa, just a short walk and rent bikes to enjoy the newly installed bike path along the ocean. We have installed the oracode locking system. Upon final payment you will be given a code to enter the unit. There is no worry about loosing the keys. I believe you will find this very convenient. Directly across the street is a shopping center, Safeway Market, Long Drugs, Starbucks Coffee, Panda, Ice Cream Store, Papaya health food store other fast foods stores, one half block away is Foodland and Coffee Bean. Great restaurants within walking distance. local Pizza next door to resort, canoe rental next door also.

Other Activities: Lydgate park is great for children. Many great gold courses on Island. Rent bicycles and ride on the bike path. Take a boat and view the Napoli Coast. Great hikes in several locations, horse back riding, zip lines etc.

Golf: There are several great golf courses, Two in Princeville, The PGA course in Poipu, Kiahuna in Poipu, The Puakea Golf Course in Lihue, KauiI Lagoons at the Marriott, The Wailua Municipal course in Kapaa. Great value for a local course.

So it's been a week since we've been back from your awesome condo and we're finally getting the last of the sand out of our clothes. What we're left with is some pretty awesome memories, and just a little bit of sun tan!

Thank you so much for the use of your place. That has to be the nicest view of almost anywhere on the island, and the property was spectacular. But most of all, and maybe most importantly given the sight-unseen rental via the internet, you handled the rental so professionally -- everything was exactly where you said it would be, the rooms were just as you described, and there were no unpleasant surprise. The place was spotlessly clean, the boogie boards, coolers, beach mats, and other local items were such a great touch, and oh my lord where did you get those mattresses!

Anyway, our family trip was amazing and my kids (9 & 12) were really impressed. They thought we were at a super-swanky resort! Again, I can't thank you enough for providing exactly what you promised, and for making it available for our vacation. I hope you'll be willing to have us as visitors again, because we'd sure like to come back.

Great condo

This condo was just as described. Beautiful view, well kept unit, great grounds. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and there were many beach items available ( chairs, mats, tubes, boogie boards, and snorkels. We left a baby float for others to use in the pool). Our grandchildren loved to pool, slides, hot tub and beach in front of the resort. It was great to have a porta crib and booster seat.
We stayed 4 weeks and enjoyed every day. Kauai is such a beautiful island. If you are there on a Sunday, visit the sink hole in Poipu. Very interesting. The Grove Farm in Lihue is a fun field trip, as well as the Limahula Garden past Hanalei. So many things to do on the Island.
The few maintenance issues we had (broken blender and vacuum) were quickly dealt with by Sheila the housekeeper. Our only issue was the wireless internet. We had to call daily and have it reset. One time it was off for 2 days. It would be nice if the unit had it's own WiFi.
Yvonne was very good to deal with and responsive to our inquiries. Best price for an ocean front condo in the resort!

First Class Accommodation in Kauai!

On our arrival we were so pleased to find this excellent first-class accommodation. This third floor unit offered security and a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean--with refreshing tradewinds. It was so peaceful without the pollution of street noises or pool festivities. Your condo is so tastefully appointed--top quality furnishings, high-end appliances, all the necessary accessories, plus so much more (even Henckel knives)--everything you might need for either a short or long-term visit! The two master suites each offered complete privacy--making it perfect accommodation to share with family or friends.

The view is absolutely stunning overlooking the meticulously manicured grounds, shrubs and trees and, of course, the mighty Pacific Ocean! We enjoyed seeing whales almost every day. The pool area is wonderful for both adults and children and we enjoyed many a hot tub in the evenings! Of course, the central location of Waipouli Beach Resort made it so convenient to explore our favourite island.

Where else would you find such a stunning view from all your lanais, sleep to the sound of the waves and still have the convenience of shopping and dining right at your back door! To top it off...the weather was great every single day we were here (33 days). We were very pleased that we chose this accommodation--Yvonne was a pleasure to deal with in making our vacation arrangements.

Truly Wonderful Rental Experience

4 adults (myself, my partner & my parents) rented this Condo for a week in Novemeber 2012. The unit is wonderful you really feel you are on vacation in upscale environment. The kitchen was lovely to use and work in, allowing us to eat "at home" more than we normally do on vacation. We also cooked out at the pool area for lunch one day and had a lot of fun meeting other guests who were also enjoying this unusually wonderful part of the complex. The beach right in front of our condo had nice sand and was pleasant to lay out on for an afternoon.

Apparently right before our visit the prior guests had complained in their "review" of leaking water in one of the showers, but didn't report it to the owner or cleaning/managing company. Therefore, there were a couple of visits from them to repair the issue. The issue was nothing to speak of, really, but it was promptly taken care of and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. We actually enjoyed speaking with them and learned about several "local" things to do; a couple of which we actually did on this visit.

Everything was wonderful and we had a nice relaxing vacation in a spa like atmosphere! Highly recommend this condo.
