Cabrera Vacation Rental villa

Ocean Palms Villa is a wonderful dream turned real. Its proprietors wanted to create a fine place with maximum service at an affordable price. At that next to impossible task, they’ve succeeded magnificently.

The setting is splendid, the villa’s layout engaging, its construction materials excellent. There are ceiling fans everywhere. The air conditioners are the latest. The beds are sturdy and comfortable (three king-size, two queens). The bathrooms connected to the two larger bedrooms are very large, and they’re plenty big even in the medium-size bedrooms.

Intended for ten couples (children welcome), the five bedrooms are on two levels. Those levels plus one more above offer a variety of spaces for relaxation, games, and TV or video viewing. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped.

A bar on the main floor is placed right next to a large gathering area. The outdoor pool and its deck are beautiful, overlooking the North Atlantic a short distance away.

The staff are effective and thoughtful, also dedicated and imaginative. They make a big difference! They kept the villa spotless and were always helpful. The food they prepared at our request was delicious, varied, nutritious, and generous in quantity, the sort you’d be glad to find in any restaurant.

Deliberately built in a less busy part of the Dominican Republic, Ocean Palms is ideal for a quiet getaway but still not far from tourist attractions. Four nearby beaches are clean and fun. More organized activities (golf, horseback riding, scuba diving, whale watching, sightseeing tours, etc.) aren’t far away. The villa’s proprietors know the country well and are prepared to assist guests in every way to find and arrange suitable activities.

I’ll sum this location up simply: I’ve never stayed anywhere better.
