Our beautiful beach home sits perched 150 feet above the Pacific Ocean on a private 1/2 acre with sweeping whitewater views of the ocean and the Point Arena Lighthouse. Enjoy beautiful sunsets on our expansive deck. Sip your morning coffee in our sun room. Lounge in the private hot tub under the stars. Or if you prefer, curl up in front of a roaring fire with a good book and watch TV on our large flat screen HDTV. Our home features vaulted ceilings, many windows, skylights in every room, high-speed, wireless Internet access, a large fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to whip up delicious meals. If you prefer to dine out there are an assortment of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Manchester is 4 miles south with a full size grocery store. Historic Point Arena and its lighthouse is 7 miles south with a bakery, theater, restaurants, fishing pier and wildlife sanctuary. Mendocino is 45 minutes north with shops, restaurants, music festivals. Fort Bragg is 10 minutes north of Mendocino and has a wonderful organic market, along with a local brewery and a picturesque harbor where you can take fishing trips as well as whale watching tours. Other activities that the area has to offer are hiking, biking, golf, fishing, museums, boating, surfing, rafting, bird watching, horseback riding, sightseeing, driftwood collecting.

A Spectacular View and a GetAway of Comfort

I was completely enchanted by the view from the home and from the deck. Time spent in the hot tub was bliss. The home is so comfortable and relaxing; it was a perfect set-up for our family. It had all the amenities we could have asked for. The kitchen is well provisioned, and a good grocery is not far away. The living room is cozy and spacious. The bedrooms are seaside charming and well-sized. I loved having a quiet read in the sunroom.

When we were ready to be active, the walk down to and along the beach was exhilirating. It was wonderful to be on a beach where we saw very few others, but those few who we did see were quite friendly.
We returned to this house on a second stay, and again found it to be very, very much to our liking. We anticipate a return in the coming summer. We have recommended this property to our friends as a home of comfort and charm and terrific location. It soothes the soul to be there. The view just cannot be described in words ~ the curve of the ocean waves is punctuated by the Point Arena lighthouse on the horizon. Perfection!

The best house in Irish Beach!

My husband and I and another couple were lucky enough to stay in Paradise Found, a home that is aptly named! Beautifully appointed, totally comfortable, gorgeous views - what can I say, we didn't want to leave.

This house is sparkling clean with everything you could want while you are away. You walk in and it just "hugs" you. The living area is so well done and the chaise by the window invites long afternoons of reading your book while watching for whales.

A very nice grocery store is just down the road and their kitchen has everything that you need to cook. We did take a day trip into Mendocino and ended up having dinner there. A variety of restaurants are not hard to find in this charming town.

When you stay at this house you have access to a private beach and you can walk forever and not see another soul. It's just - paradise.

I would highly recommend this house and we plan on going back.

The Perfect Place for the Perfect Vacation

We LOVED THIS HOUSE!!!! It is so comfortable and the decor was lovely. I especially loved the overstuffed chaise in the living room positioned so that you have perfect sweeping views of the ocean. It was the perfect spot so sit and read and snooze. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up in the morning but also we couldn't wait to get up and drink our coffee in the sun room with the magnificent views.

There were just so many wonderful things about this house, it is hard to pick out what we loved the most. First let me say that it was immaculately clean. The hot tub was great. We loved ending the day there with a glass of wine before dinner.

There are so many wonderful touches to this house that make it feel so comfortable and welcoming, not like many of the rentals we have stayed in that are lacking the attention to detail and the personality that makes this house feel like it could be your own.

Cindy, the owner, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She provided very good information regarding the house and the surrounding area. The adjoining private beach is incredible. You can literally walk for miles and practically have it all to yourself. We also enjoyed kicking around in Mendocino and Fort Bragg. The drive is beautiful and we spent a lovely afternoon at the Botanical Garden in Fort Bragg. It is well worth a visit.

All in all, this was a most wonderful vacation. I don't know how it could have been any better. We highly recommend this house and will tell our friends and family. We will definitely be back.
