Perfect Fall Getaway with Spectacular Views

My husband & I wanted a 25th anniversary getaway where we could see the fall foliage (being that we live in Florida) and Mountain Magic proved to be the ideal setting. The cabin had everything we needed - we had a campfire every night, soaked in the hot tub, and cooked on the grill. We started every morning taking in the spectacular view from the glider rockers on the porch and later watched the sun go down on the porch. The close proximity to the N.O.C. was a plus and we had a great time ziplining and white water rafting. We also had dinner and breakfast at the River's End restaurant at NOC. The other days we hiked, fished at a trout farm, took a scenic drive and went horseback riding in the Smoky Mts. The cabin is in a great location to get to all of the places we wanted to go, but it was also a quiet, peaceful setting to get away from it all. We were blessed with perfect weather the whole week -- warm days and cool, clear nights. We sat under a moonlit sky full of stars every night of our stay. One morning was a little cool when we woke up and how nice it was to flick a switch and have an instant fire in the fireplace! All-in-all we had a wonderful stay and hope to return again some day!

We love to be in the Mountains in the Fall and enjoy the cool evenings with a fire going outside, and the beautiful colors everywhere you drive as well! One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to lay down a blanket in the yard, turn off all the lights, and lay there looking at all of the stars and magical lights of the fireflies!
