The East Lake Victorian Mansion was built in 1890 by the Spencer family. It is an elegant and spacious home that accommodates large families or groups and is comfortable for year round enjoyment. It is located in Thompson PA on route 171 just 12 miles north of Elk Mountain. Thompson is a tranquil little town where you can hear the sound of church bells throughout the day. The Spencer House has three well furnished parlors that make for comfortable socializing. Enjoy the privacy of two separate dining rooms or one large dining room simply by opening the massive folding doors that divide the dining room in half. When they are closed one room has eight massive wood doors that give the feeling of an English manor home. The other half of the dining room has an enormous built in server with a pass through to the kitchen. Together the two dining rooms create a hostess’ dream. The fully equipped kitchen was recently updated; it is a cook’s delight.
