Absolutely gorgeous 5 bedroom home located on the northwest side of Burt Lake. Situated on 115' feet of shoreline, this home offers a private Master Bedroom on the lower level and 4 large bedrooms with a commons area on the upper level. The Dock stretches out 300' as the water is shallow and warm with a sandy bottom. This part of the lake is mostly calm in the summer months. Outdoor amenities include Fire Pit , Croquette, Minnow trap, and Basketball hoop and 2 mooring buoys.

Activities: Boating the Inland Water Way, Maple Bay Sand bar, Pristine UM Biological Beach at north end , shallow warm water along the dock sandy bottom only waist high past the 300' dock great for youngsters, 2 floating rafts and 1 beginners kayak are on the property, basketball hoop, and croquet are also provided. Side yard is large enough to toss around football or a game of whiffle ball. Boats and PWC can be rented at Indian River Marina or IndianRiver Sports Center by the day or the week.

Amenities: Master Bedroom King size bed, walk in closet with built in dressers, soaker tub and steam shower, satellite TV on lower level. 4 extra large bedrooms 2 full baths commons area with futon and laundry facilities on upper level, all bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Commons area has foosball table and TV with DVD player. Lower level features gourmet kitchen with SS appliances, 48' stove has 4 gas burners, grill, and griddle, convection oven and bread oven. Side by side refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, seating for 6 at island counter. Wet bar, dinning room, kitchen and family room are nicely blended in an open floor-plan in this home. Family room has HD 42' TV with surround sound and satellite radio and TV. Lower level has another full bath and laundry facilities also. WI-FI and and computer are also available.

Our cottage is due west of Hoppies and approximately 8.5 mi. from Indian River by water. Enjoy boating , fishing [Walleye, Perch, Pike, Trout] on Burt Lake. This home features a 300' private dock and 2 mooring buoys situated in 115' of shoreline. The home also has a gourmet kitchen and an open floor plan that makes your family vacation intimate but not crowded.

AMAZING, AWESOME VACATION GET AWAY

The Burt Lake home is simply amazing. The layout is fantastic! We had 2 families - 10 of us total. The house was the perfect size - and clean and very nicely decorated! The kitchen was also fantastic!!

The yard was beautiful and the DOCK??? We had kiddos aged 7 - 14 - we never had to worry about them. At the end of the dock they could still stand in the water. The water was warm and crystal clear.

We cannot say enough about the Burt Lake home. We would DEFINITELY recommend it!!

We stayed in this beautiful house two summers in a row. Very large kitchen with lots and lots of space. Beautiful view and great spot on the lake. The owners were wonderful and the house is immaculate. We would go back every year if we could.

Great getaway

We have celebrated July 4th for the last two years with family and friends at this wonderful getaway on one of Michigan's finest lakes. We were able to dock our 17' boat, swim off the pier, wade in the sandy bottom lake and enjoy late night camp fires and watch the magic of the 4th up north weekend unfold before us. We sat outside for hours watching large and small fireworks displays to the delight of our grand children. The owners are fabulous and willing to come over at the drop of a hat to fix any fix you may get yourself into. For us it was to unlock the pantry door that my 2 year old grandson engineered. The property combines the feel of a home, with the unobstrusive approach of a professional property management. Although it doesn't have air conditioning, we always felt comfortable even during hot weather. the home is professionally landscaped and designed and a rare find in northern michigan rentals. The only reason we are not renting this year is because we were inspired enough to buy our own home in the area.
