This is the perfect home for a quiet, relaxing getaway but with all kinds of toys to make it fun for the entire family. Peace and quiet with all the luxuries of home and more. Read a book on the wide porch on rockers or a glider. Or have lunch on the porch watching the crazy hummingbirds fight for domination of the feeder. All with a view to die for. The view down the valley changes often from clear to a river if clouds. Enjoy your own personal spa with the 6 person Hot Tub.

You find yourself surrounded by the beauty of God's creation as you drive to the top of this mountain along a creek with beautiful waterfalls, just above Chimney Rock. When you arrive you will find a wonderful refuge from stresss. The home resembles an Irish or French mountain home with stone walls, grape trellises on the hillside and berries throughout the property. Enjoy rocking on the front porch, where the mountain views are breath taking or relax in the private hot tub while marveling at the night sky. Or enjoy a quiet evening at the old stone fire pit on a secluded conversation terrace that will make you feel like you went back in time.. Smores anyone? Take a leisurely stroll through our quiet neighborhood or enjoy more challenging mountain trails. The homes, in this neighborhood, are close enough for comfort but far enough from each other for privacy. We now offer 180 degree views from the front porches. There is a new stone wall and private fire pit area to enjoy the beautiful night sky.

Recently we added an exciting Projection 100' Theater Game Room with Bluray DVD and a WII system with games or bring your own. The kids won't mind the peace and quiet outside with the Samsung Home Center with surround sound full Internet with Facebook and YouTube The home has something for everyone.

The house was completed in 2008, so it is still new and well kept. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of this home for less than many inns or resorts, and there is room to bring the entire family if you want to. The house sits on approximately 2 acres of land, and there is plenty of parking space. The main level features a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and white oak floors. The living room features a big screen HDTV with a Samsung full surround sound with internet access and a bluray dvd player. Featuring DIRECTTV! And free Netflix Enjoy the gas log fireplace in the winter and the cool mountain breeze as you open the windows in the summer. The master bedroom is also on the main floor and features a king size bed with large windows overlooking the mountains. The lower level has two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, along with a futon in the downstairs den area. The Entertainment Room and home theater is on this level. We recently added HIGH SPEED INTERNET WIFI. Very fast! We also have a landline phone incase your cell is spotty. It also offers free domestic long distance to make your friends back home jealous.

If you prefer to see the sights the is lots to see. Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock Park where shops abound and streams flow. Lake Lure boat rides and the beach area are sure hits for all ages. Hendersonville is only a short drive away, and Asheville and the beautiful Biltmore House and Gardens are only 25 minutes away. A short drive to Black Mountain is a must for antique lovers. There are several great restaurants in the area, and many types of entertainment are sure to be found.

We love to travel. Our son is a studio engineer and our daughter is about to start college so we hope to have more time at the Autumn View. We fell in love with it the first time we saw the view. One of the best we have ever seen.

The Cabin, as stated in previous reviews, has everything you will need for a wonderful family trip. We enjoyed all the room, the upstairs balcony and the Hot Tub. Every year, Me, my mom, 2 aunts and 3 cousins plan a girls weekend. This one will be always be special in that my youngest aunt passed away 3 weeks after our trip. She was only 52. The memories that we shared in your cabin will never be forgotten. Thank you :)

The owners were very helpful and sweet. Enjoyed dealing with them.

Bill & Lea's home is completely furnished with everything you need. Very roomy and comfortable! It is very close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Everything in the home is labeled on what switches turn on what device, great satellite and wi-if connections. Nice little touches throughout the house. The hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking. Our only advice would be to arrive before dark on the first day, as the roads from Hendersonville are very windy and without our GPS we would have been completely lost! We made it to Autumn View Drive without any problem, but it was hard to see the driveway in the dark. Bill & Lea called us during and after our stay to make sure everything was going well, very nice touch. Thanks for sharing your home, we would recommend this home to friends and family!

Perfect quiet get away

My husband, daughter and I spent the labor day weekend here and it was perfect. The view was very nice and the house was very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable, with good pillows and linens. The owners did not skimp on any furnishings.

The one bedroom on the main floor was roomy with a few little nice touches. One nice little touch was a clock which refected the time on the ceiling, enabling you to just open your eyes and see the time. That gave me a perfect idea for my husbands birthday gift, as he really liked that little touch.

The kitchen was well equipped and in good working condition. My daughter enjoys cooking and she lacked for nothing in the kitchen. The large table in the kitchen will seat 8.

The house will sleep eight, using the three beds and two sofas, but I think it is perfect for four to six as I love to quiet privacy. Two bedrooms are downstrairs; a private place for for the teens or a second couple. Stairs are a little steep so I do not recomend the down stairs for elderly people or anyone with any problems climbing steps.

I hope to return for another holiday soon and woud recommend it t to others. Owners were easy to work with, friendly and accommodating. Thanks for sharing your mountain home with us.

My best friend and I decided to rent this home for a girls' getaway, and we are so glad we did. We had a fantastic time and the owners were great to work with. We have only been home for a few weeks, and we are missing it more than we thought! We would recommend Autumn View to anyone!

Awesome Couple Retreat!

We woud like to say Thank you for the use of your home for a couples weekend. We come to this area every year and try to stay as close to the lake area as much as possible and this was very convinent. We were lucky enought to be here this year for the 3rd annual dirty dancing festival which was really fun. Everyone loved the layout of the home and the spacious kitchen and great room. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch, rocking, enjoying your view, and all that nature has to offer. We were visited both mornings by a small bear making what we assume is his daily rounds for food and supplies. We were blessed enough to have a full vibrant rainbow after a brief afternoon shower(I am sending picture to the owners). The hot tub was a much needed treat after days of Kayaking/golfing/shopping in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We had great plans for an evening next to the fire pit but rain came and settled in for the night. The little time we were able to use was great!
