Our children are now grown, married, and we have 5 grandchildren who have all learned to ski at Steamboat. Family ski trips are super. Skiing is one of the few activities that an adult and a young child can enjoy together each doing the same thing and enjoying the experience for many of the same reasons. The kids also love the Steamboat ski school when we are not skiing all together.
Promontory is a three minute walk (350 steps) to the first gondola tower where we snap on skis and ski down to the gondola, or where we ski to at the end of the day to walk 3 minutes back to the condo. There is a great hot tub and a slightly cooler large pool for swimming all winter. All the bedrooms have queen size beds except Promontory 15 has one room with 4 bunk beds. We have spent a great deal of time and money to make the unit attractive and we hope you love them as much as we love them.
My wife and I are now mostly retired and we plan to be in Steamboat much of the winter. When our kids are not visiting we will be in a much smaller unit just across the parking lot from Promontory. We look forward to meeting you.
