Enjoy our elegant and fun condo with bold modern decor. Our dear friend, a designer, helped us create our dream home which was inspired by the reefs, flowers and wildlife of Siesta Key. Our daughter, an artist, painted a 12 foot abstract mural for us. We wanted a place that would be as much of a treat for the senses as the island is!
Artsy decor aside, nothing can top the spectacular view of the beach from the lanai. You can literally roll out of bed, throw on some sandals and cross the street, and presto! You're on the beach! Siesta Public Beach, consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the world, is the most popular beach on the island. We love having barbecues and picnics at the cabanas that are at the edge of the beach right outside our front window.
Our bedroom has a gorgeous beach view too, and we love to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning. Go for a morning jog when the sun rises and check out the morning collection of shells washed up on the shore.
We are both educators. We love to nurture and take care of others... so hospitality just comes naturally to us! Traveling is our passion. We both grew up in the tropics and nothing makes us feel young again quite like a walk in the sea breeze on a sunny beach.
This condo is very special to us, and we hope our guests end up with as many happy memories as we have from staying here. You'll notice that on the walls we have mounted some of our favorite shells that we actually picked up ourselves during our time here. Our beach combing memories are so special to us! One season, we found so many sand dollars that we actually decorated that year's whole Christmas tree in sand dollars hung from tiny ribbons.
Jaye & Dayal Kiringoda purchased this condo in 2009
We have traveled four continents looking for the 'best beach.' Ever since we found Siesta Key, we haven't gone beach vacationing anywhere else. Siesta Key is consistently ranked as the best beach area in the United States. We kept returning to the Sunset Royale condo complex for five years before finally finding a unit in it that was available and just perfect for us! We love the friendly neighbors, the safe 'small neighborhood' atmosphere, and the convenience of the location - you're on the beach, but just a 5 minute drive puts you right in the middle of all the shopping and amenities you could want.
Some of our favorite 'Small Town' finds:
Paisano's Italian Bakery - We love this little family-owned shop where they always remember you and have a minute to chat while loading you up with delicious free samples!
Women's Exchange - Go hunting for unique bargains in a consignment store. You can usually find some gorgeous home furnishing gems here if you have an eye for that sort of thing. And it benefits charity!
Mote Aquarium Bird Rehabilitation Center - This place is just so heartwarming. Don't be surprised if a bunch of friendly egrets follow you around when you tour the place.
Sarasota Downtown Farmer's Market - Right next to Whole Foods Market, this is a great place to go Saturday mornings to find fresh flowers and produce, crafts and jewelry, and much more.
Our bathroom is custom built with an adjustable mount shower head and comfortable non-slip seat.
A moderrn kitchen with all the amenities and gadgets you need to create a memorable gourmet meal!
Teak dining table with pull-out leaves can seat up to six for a festive Thanksgiving dinner.
Scandinavian designed sleeper sofa from Copenhagen Imports is more comfortable than most actual beds!
Comfortable work station with Wi-Fi for your phone and computer needs. Make yourself at home.
Siesta Public Beach, right outside our window, is truly a gem! The beach is kept immaculately clean, and there are lots of lifeguards on duty. This beach has a wonderful welcome facility, with food court, tennis courts, gift shops, picnic/barbecue areas, and clean, spacious locker rooms. All of this is open to the public and you only five minutes away. We provide you with beach chairs and umbrellas, a cooler, tennis racquets and balls, beach towels, and sand toys for the kids. Best of all, you can park in your own covered parking space here at the condo, then go enjoy the beach while everyone else hunts for a parking space!
'The Village ' of Siesta Key is pedestrian and bicycle friendly, and within walking distance. Have fun exploring its quaint shops and places to eat. And downtown Sarasota is just minutes away with its great restaurants, art galleries and boutiques.
The Myakka Wildlife Reserve is a short drive away, and you can take a boat tour, go canoeing or bird watching or watch gators from the extensive system of raised walkways in the park.
Great condo right across street from amazing beach. Wife and I have traveled extensively throughout Florida and the Caribbean and this place rates right up at the top. Condo in great location with many top notch restaurants nearby. Condo is very well furnished for home away from home. Must checkout in morning but will return in the near future.
Very clean, well maintained and equipped condo. Perfect location at great rate! Easy arrangements for check in and check out. Enjoyed the view of the beach from the big window. We flew in from Western NC and were limited on luggage. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy a week of fun and sun on the beach! Found a lot of sand dollars and other shells on the beautiful white, sandy beach. Drove just a short drive to Venice Beach and found a lot of shark teeth. Siesta Key village is just a short walk away, or you can take the free shuttle service if you don't want to drive and worry with parking. Rented a boat and enjoyed a day of fishing in the sound. Flew over the ocean parasailing another day. Hope to return again to the fun and sun.
The pictures tell the story but not all of it. This is a very nice, well kept condo which sits directly across the street from the park and beach. The picture from the lunai is exactly what you see, an unobstructed view. Everything in the condo is well maintained and in good condition. We truly appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler especially since we flew down and were limited on what we could bring.
Siesta Key is a wonderful place and the beach is great but there are many other attractions in the area that worth visiting. A"must see" is the Ringling art museum. They have an incredible collection housed in a huge building. Plan to spend the day there and don't miss the Circus museum also on the property. Mote Aquarium is a fun trip and LeBarge was a nice boat ride.
This condo is reasonably priced and one that I would gladly recommend to friends and family. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to return again soon.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this artfully decorated condo. The bath and tiled shower are
outstanding features along with the large windows with views of the beach and the Gulf.
Proximity to Siesta Village is also a plus. Definitely a place we would like to return to.
We love this place!! Last year we honeymooned here so, of course, we had to celebrate our 1st anniversary here too. The condo decor is wonderful - much better than the pictures. Just look out the window to see the sparkling sands and turquoise water. The condo grounds are exquisitely maintained, and we have decided this is the best place to stay on the Key. Everything is spotless, and you can tell it's been well taken care of. We couldn't believe all of the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and even a cooler that were available for us to use. This is truly a spa-like atmosphere, and the owners couldn't be more helpful! Needless to say, we are already booked for next September! Can't wait!!!!
My husband and I were very impressed with your beautiful condo. The view first thing in the morning looking out the bedroom window is awesome.....you can see the umbrellas and green ocean and all types of gulls flying around the water....diving for little fish. Then at the breakfast table, you have the same breathtaking view. My husband and I compare it to the awe of the Grand Canyon or Sedona. Walking the beach at sunset was our favorite thing....and only across the street did we have to venture....a lovely walk to the shoreline. We loved the homey feeling of the condo and the cleanliness. So much to say but only something that you have to see for yourself to know that you are in paradise.
