Meagan's Beach House - Bayfront Home with spectacular Sunrises and Sunsets

Mike and Maria are to be commended on their wonderful beach home. My husband and I (and 4 boys ages 6 - 12) arrived on August 15, 2011 for a week's stay. Mike and Maria were there to greet us and show us where everything was. You will want for nothing during your stay at this immaculate home. Their son was very helpful in giving us fishing tips as well. I must say that the snorkeling right off the dock was as good as the trip we took to the reef. The water is teeming with a variety of fish, both large and small. The kids spent hours snorkeling, canoeing and fishing right off the dock. You can see both the sunrise and sunset. We all did not want to leave the dock because we did not want to miss anything that might come by (porpoises, rays, tarpon, crabs, lobsters, needlefish, barracuda, red snapper). We went to the Fish House for my husband's birthday and had the best seafood ever. The staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the activities at John Pennecamp state park and particularly enjoyed a day's outing to Bahia Honda state park. The dock can accommodate a boat, we did not rent one because we are unsure of our way around. We sure did not need it because there was so much to see right at the property. I would recommend this to young and old, for one or many. This is a vacation not to be missed! Thank you Mike and Maria!!!

Meagan's Beach House was everything we expected and more! Mike and Maria are the owners....so nice and helpful from the day I first inquired about the rental home online! They were waiting on us at arrival, Mike helped my husband launch our boat nearby so that we could dock it at the end of the fully equipped, nice, long, private dock. Maria was at the home....with a bottle of wine and fruit bowl, waiting for us. We brought a 28' boat and the dock was perfect. Tide change isn't significant enough to cause any problems. The home is adorable. Every decoration detail was beachy! So many extras with this home; ice machine outside, fish cleaning area, outdoor grill, canoe, big flat screen t.v.s in each room, fluffy towels, computer, land line phone...everything! The views are gorgeous, beautiful sunsets! We loved the manatees that came right up to the dock each day! My family has two adults and two children....plenty of space! Lots of shopping nearby. So much to do in this area....State Parks, restaurants, fishing, snorkling, Scuba Diving, etc.....We loved having our boat with us and being able to leave it in the water. Very safe neighborhood. Everyone around was extremely friendly. I have nothing negative to say about this property or location. We will certainly be back!
