By car you are just a 8 minute drive to the city center and a 30 minute drive to any location in the city, from the beaches of Kitsilano, to the mountains of the North Shore, to the BC ferry portal to the Gulf Islands and Victoria. We are very close to public transit: buses are a block away, Skytrain (rapid transit) is a 12 minute walk. Many guests opt to go car free as travelling around the city is super easy, but if you have a car, we have a large off street parking space just for you.

We love living in this beautiful 1910 heritage home in a prime heritage area of Vancouver, and sharing the Commercial Drive area with visitors from all over the world. Vancouver is indeed a visitors paradise and we enjoy the great variety of people who come and explore its many hidden gems.

Commercial Drive is one of the trendiest areas in Vancouver and a fabulous place to visit. The house is on a quiet street 1 1/2 blocks from the best cafes, restaurants, live music clubs and bars, shops, produce and health food stores. There are fitness facilities, banks, groceries, transit, and a liquor store all within minutes from home.
What makes this apartment unique
Our house is over 100 years old. She celebrated her 100th birthday in 2010. Over the last several years she has had major renovations to every sector of the home, including the suite. The suite is a new installation including both kitchen and bathroom and has not been rented prior to this listing on VRBO. The entire house, including the suite, has retained its heritage charm and combines the best of modern and heritage living.
