Exceptional beach cottage in historic KDH, OBX

Our family has chosen to stay at the Estes’ OBX beach cottage three times since 2006. The non-smoking house is conveniently located in the shadow of the Wright Brothers’ national monument and directly across the street from the public access beach. The house is very well appointed and comfortably sleeps up to 10 adults and children. The recently-renovated house includes air conditioning (and screened windows), ceiling fans, an ample kitchen, two indoor and one outdoor showers, a gas grill, washer and dryer, and covered parking. Families can enjoy cable TV, a nice video/DVD collection, and free WiFi access.
We particularly enjoy the fantastic two-story, south-facing deck (with private access from the master suite) with a great 180-degree perspective of the sunrise in the morning and the moon in the evening. We also like to BBQ and have dinner on the porch, too. The cottage is also located within walking distance of numerous highly-rated restaurants, convenience stores, and, most importantly, Dairy Queen!
The weekly rental price is also VERY competitive compared to other (often less well-appointed) houses in the same area.
We will definitely return again and again!
