We fell in love with this mountain cottage the first time we saw it. There is a wraparound porch with rocking chairs, where you can rock and enjoy the wooded view. We would love to share it with you.

We first came to Brevard to fly fish, hike and photograph some of the 270 waterfalls. We decided to purchase a Vacation Rental Home so that we could come more often and most of all share it with you.

You could spend an entire day in the quaint downtown Brevard, with its shops, antiques, OP Taylor toy store and of course, the Soda Fountain.

Brevard College is famous for its music study. They put on programs throughout the year. There are small groups that play music just about every night for a nominal fee.

There is a fish hatchery that supplies trout to many state and national parks. There are guides to aid you in fly fishing in beautiful Davidson River.

Outside Amenities: There are Rocking Chairs across the front porch and a table with 4 chairs at the far end. Also a Porch Swing and Hammock. Gas Grill and FirePit allow for cooking and fun. Horseshoes and 'Throw Golf' game provided. Running creek on premises. Play area in expanded, large parking area.

  • The downstairs bathroom has new Biltmore, plush towels. Both baths are supplied with towels, soap, shampoo, tooth brushes, tooth paste (travel size), bubble bath soap, lotion, a hair dryer, and of course, toilet paper,

  • On the first floor is the Master Bedroom with a New Queen size bed, closet and dresser. The first bedroom upstairs has a king size bed using a day/trundle bed with a Serta 4-inch memory foam mattress topper and contour pillows for extra comfort. There is also sofa that opens into a twin bed a foam mattress is supplied for it. This bedroom also has dresser and a TV with DVD/VCR player. The other upstairs Bedroom has two double beds and bunk beds. There is a new infant crib and a twin bed guard for toddlers. All beds have mattress and pillow covers, linens, blankets and quilts. An extra large sleeping bag is also available. This allows for spacious room, yet numerous sleeping arrangements.

Notes: Wheelchair Accessible: We put in an electric lift from the driveway to the porch. All doors are at least 36' wide and have lever handles. There is plenty of room to move about on in a wheelchair on first floor without any steps or inclines. The master bedroom is on the first floor. It has a queen size bed that is level with a wheelchair. The kitchen has a work area that has been lowered for those in a wheelchair. The dishes, flatware, pans, etc are in the lower cabinets. We plan to have the first floor bathroom remodeled this winter to make it fully accessible. The guide for the Davidson River accommodates wheelchair bound persons. There is tour guide that will come to our home and pick you up and take you to private waterfalls. Children: We love children of all ages. There are plenty of toys and games with 3 large pillows to sit on the floor. The stove is a flat top with the knobs on the back so that children can not reach them.

fishing trip

Our trip to NC Mtns was for fly fishing on the Davidson River. There was five fellows staying at the cottage during our time fishing. The cottage was as stated by the owner, quiet, well kept, very comfortable, great beds, and well appointed. The owners were very easy to work with and prompt with cleaning deposit return. I would stay here again and enjoy it as much as we did during our visit.

Delightful

We had a delightful experience at the Blue Arrow. The cottage was in a safe, secluded area in the midst of God's country. We loved the porch and spent most of our time at the house on the porch or by the fire pit. We were minutes away from hiking to waterfalls, swimming holes and Sliding Rock. We enjoyed our adventures.

Beautiful mountain retreat

We had a wonderful time at your cottage. We enjoyed cooking our Thanksgiving dinner in your well-stocked kitchen, eating at the big dining room table, sitting on the porch and walking through the beautiful area surrounding the cottage. My mom was able to get around in her wheelchair with no problems at all. Thanks be so easy to work with and for making everything so comfortable.

Lovely Cottage

My sisters, mother, and I rented this cottage for an early Christmas party. My mother fell twice prior to our arrival and we were forced to bring her on the trip in a wheel chair. The electric wheel chair lift made this so easy for us. Also, the cottage is set up for wheel chair access. This cottage was so lovely. We were celebrating Christmas as I mentioned and picked a weekend where we were able to see some snow flurries so we had a white Christmas. The cottage was well stocked with all of the linens and kitchen supplies you would have at home. We will most definitely rent this cottage again.
