What a treasure for a traveller! The house is filled with wonderful love, energy and generosity. I longed to come home to it every night for the warmth and relaxation within its walls. Its in the perfect neighborhood about 5 minute drive to downtown Seattle. I also loved taking the bus to go get food at Pike Place Market. I loved cooking in the house which for me is very unusual since I love eating out in new cities I visit, but after seeing the eye popping fresh food at the market I felt inspired to cook meals in the beautiful, warm house-it was the perfect match. Which in turn made me start to feel like it was "home"! This rarely if ever happens when I am staying in rentals, hotels ect. while traveling. The house is fully stocked with every type of dish, pan, wine bottle opener, coffee maker, ect., it even had basic condiments! Everything in the house, every detail is so generously and thoroughly thought out by the owners to provide maximum comfort and warmth. The backyard is really beautiful and sweet. I just loved it! I actually felt sad to leave, but I feel so good knowing that whenever I visit Seattle I have a "home" to come to. I especially want to thank Laura and her husband for creating such an inspired, generous loving environment for travelers-a rare gem!
