Review Robin House, Lubbock TX, Prop264806

Four of us ladies met in Lubbock at the Robin House to spend time scrapbooking together. It was perfect for that, the upstairs "living" area was well lighted and provided ample room for our activities. Each of us had our own bedroom and happily shared the two baths. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, close to the university, eateries, grocery stores, shopping. The only "less than perfect" was the way the kitchen was equiped. We cooked all our meals at the house and found the pots, pans, small appliances less than standard. Also the kitchen was cluttered with food items left from previous renters than would be useful to no one. A little more thorough "deep" cleaning would move the house from a 3.5 star to a 4.5 star.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad you found the home spacious and comfortable. We fully agree with the "left-over" items of utensils, pots, pans, etc that become useless. Each year -- in January -- we go through the home and remove, replace, update, all items necessary in the home to start off fresh. Perhaps we should consider doing this twice a year as by the time December rolls around the kitchen does collect quite a bit of useless plastic items. Thanks for the heads up -- as this is what we are doing this week!
