DAWN BEACH SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEW LUXURY SUITE!

We spent a month at this unit. On arrival, we were told that our unit had a water issue. The owner had another condo, so we stayed there for 3 days. The unit is nice, but really needs to be updated with fresh paint. Also there is some work needed to be done with the dry wall in the bedroom and kitchen ceiling. The lighting in the living room needed to be brighter with overhead lighting. The unit did lack some kitchen supplies. Very basic. The coffee maker needed to be replaced with a new one. We had friends stay in another unit. Their unit was much nicer. The area at Dawn Beach is beautiful. We really enjoyed Dawn Beach and Orient Beach. The food at Busby was good. The Dingy Dock also had good food. The road going into Princess Heights is very steep. If you are looking for a holiday that has lots of R & R this is the place! Do not leave anything in your car. Our friends had there luggage stolen from there car during the day.

My wife and I stayed for 14 nights in this condo which was tastefully decorated and had comfortable furninshings. The unit was clean but had a lot of marks on the walls and water stains on the ceilings. The view was exactly as shown in the picture. Making it more interesting to us was all the sailboats going in and out of the nearby harbor. A big plus was the internet connection which was very fast. However, you must us a data cord and you may not connect your own local WiFi unit.
A couple of items with the owner's description: There was only 1 large balcony (not 3) which was accessed by french doors in the bedroom and french doors in the living room. The only 3rd balcony he may be referring to may be outside the entrance door to the condo which is a common area used by nearby guests. It would have been nice if the front balcony had a small table to eat breakfast on, Be prepared for mosquitos and unfortunately the french doors had no screens. Even during the day mosquitos would get in. Of the 5 windows in the unit only 2 had screens which weren't ripped. So we had to keep the unit closed most of the time with the A/C going. The kitchen was well equipted but lacked sauce pans. The common areas were not kept clean. The outside hallway was never swept, (same dead bugs on tile floor for 2 weeks) along with several dark stains. The hallway walls were dirty and in need of powerwashing, It wasn't awful but you couldn't classify Princess Heights as a "Luxury Hotel". On the condo side, where this unit is, there is no elevator which is difficult for luggage and groceries. Adding to that is the long walk on the very steep hill to get to & from the beach. The only horizontal area to walk is the driveway if you like evening or morning walks. You need a car unless you eat at the Westin, which is very expensive. A walk in the opposite direction is even more strenuous, but there is a small grocery store and restaurants. Also, the hotel allows dogs and several nights I was awakened by barking. The hotel pool is large, clean & very nice with a great view. Overal, we had a good stay and came back well exercised.

As advertized place and photos. Love Dawn Beach and loved the exercised this unit provided us. Less calories with no elevator. Pool was private and great met someone from my State. The view of the ocean and breeeze on the porch was stir crazy,no bugs... Used the outdoor grill to cook fantastic ribs bought at Sang's Superstore. This unit is close to Orient and Guana Beach as well as near Dawn Beach. The Westin below has a Casino and they let you rent a Blue Cabanna to use as shade on the Beach. The best office staff is located here. They are wonderfull and will please you. My wife and I will return in the next couple of years we love this gem.
