Building amenities include: Convenience store, coffee house, ATM machine, beautiful lobby with waterfall and Koi pond, swimming pool, hot tubs, putting green, tennis courts, basketball court, bar-b-Que, coffee shop, and ONE BLOCK FROM THE BEACH AND ZOO. Best deal for staying in a condo in Waikiki. Great location. Close to the park area for jogging/strolling. I enjoyed the nearby Diamond Head Drive, a very relaxing and scenic walk or run, away from the tourist crowds. Very short walk to the beach or to all the other Waikiki attractions. The closet Waikiki beach is by a park setting, not a shore area lined with big hotels - Google map to see it. If you have small kids, you'll notice an area on the beach protected from any high surf conditions (sea wall). Just beside that is an area good for boggy-boarding. The condo .... was impressed by all the little things that are supplied to make your stay pleasant and carefree. Don't pack bulky beach towels; they're provided, along with two snorkel masks, boggy board, beach chair and small ice chest. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to prepare meals, though we only had breakfasts there (which we enjoyed while sitting on the balcony, looking at the ocean). A great item included, and an example of all the 'extra' things provided was a detailed map book - saved us a lot of time and gas. The free parking is great; indoor parking is plentiful but tight; recommend a small or medium rental car. The unit manager, Steve, was always available for any assistance, be it by phone or e-mail. Would defintely stay there again; great value. Thanks

We had a fantastic time. Best location, great rate and free parking. Not much more you can ask for. 1608 is clean, comfortable and in a good part of Waikiki. Owner makes it very easy to rent. Thanks so much for your hospitality Steve, Ill be visiting again.

GREAT LOCATION

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The location was excellent and the view from the balcony was incredible. It has a homey feel to it and plenty of utensils and dinnerware for cooking great meals. We even BBQ'd at the pool and jacuzzi area one night. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to my next stay here!

We are repeat visitors to Honolulu, and have stayed at this particular unit in the Waikiki Banyan more than once. (In fact, it's at the top of our list when we are searching for availability.) Very spacious one-bedroom apartment, well-appointed, full kitchen for preparing meals, lovely balcony to watch the sunsets. Photos on website are very accurate. Steps from the beach. Unbeatable price which includes parking! Mahalo, and we look forward to our next visit.

Cozy ~ Home away from home.....

My husband and I stayed here for a week while celebrating our anniversary. This condo is comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed the amenities that a condo gives you very much. Each morning we fixed breakfast and enjoyed the lanai with the ocean views to start our day and beautiful city lights by night.
The Waikiki Banyan is 1 block from the beach, with the view of Diamond Head, 1 block to the zoo, 1 block to the main Waikiki strip and within a comfortable walking distance to the new Outrigger Beach Walk. There are numerous restaurants close by from upscale to local food such as the Rainbow Drive In, a must try for the local food. Cheese Burger in Paradise is so close we waked right by it.......

The Waikiki Banyan also has a very nice recreation floor with a large pool (heated), 2 hot tubs, playground and BBQ area for the family to enjoy.

Over all my husband and I had a very pleasant experience and excellent customer service.
