Our wonderful English speaking agent Giuseppe Dini will meet you at the town car park (free parking) and escort you to our apartment just inside the walls - no cars are allowed inside. You climb two sets of stairs to our penthouse apartment which stretches the full width of the building right on the walls; the two front windows give superb views across the Tiber valley to the distant Appenine mountains. The great living room-sitting room/dining room/kitchen area is tastefully furnished with medieval tiles and timbered roof, plus a fine painting by contemporary Anghiari artist Vicenzo Calli. A door leads to a bedroom with the same spectacular views and en suite bathroom, all beautifully tiled by Italian craftsmen. Downstairs there is a second half bathroom, plus washer and dryer.

Fans help keep the place cool in summer, and central heating with radiators keeps it warm in winter. The housekeeper Fiametta lives in the apartment below ours, and changes the sheets and towels. She is very helpful in case of any problems. Anything she cannot solve will be dealt with by Giuseppe quickly.
