Carlsbad is a very nice coastal town the runs along approx 8 miles of beautiful sand beaches and coastline. The highlight and best place to stay is in the Village. Vacation Rentals in Carlsbad Village are nice, because you can do many things as a Family or group and because of the location of the cottage it's nice to do your own thing too yet still be close to everyone. Carlsbad Village has over 40 restaurants, coffee shops, great breakfast places, pubs, Ladies salons, great shopping, 3 surf shops and many more other shops to discover every day. We're 2 blocks from the train station and the beach is 2 short blocks where you can lay in the sun, build a sand castle, go surfing or take a nice walk down the boardwalk along the ocean which extends for about 2 miles and the sea wall trail for 1 mile. The cottage is brand new inside, the has a nice size private grassy yard as you can see in the photo. The unit is very comfortable and we keep them especially clean.

We are right in the middle between Washington and Lincoln Avenue. Were not on the corner like the marker shows. We are 1 street south of Carlsbad Village Drive and 1 block from Coast Highway 101 ( Carlsbad Blvd) . So were are in California, San Diego County, San Diego North County, City of Carlsbad California.

  • The bathroom is really nice, clean and just remodeled this year. Its a bath/shower, with a draw curtain. The sink counter is nice, clean and enough space to place you personal products. There's also a couple of drawers for some things too along with a hair dryer. The towels are really nice and soft too. We supply shower towels, hand towels, beach towels, wash cloths and dish towels. Just ask if you need some extra and you can do you laundry as we have a washing machine and dryer, detergents, bleach and softeners for you to use before 10pm.

  • The bedrooms are very nice, clean and super comfortable. The linens are kept in very nice condition and they are very soft too. We have everything you need, sheets, pillow cases, comforters, blankets and extra blankets. The closets are nice with enough space and and hangers for you clothes. There's also a pull out sofa ( Queen) in the main room that's easy to operate and pretty comfortable actually.

Notes: We have everything you need to function comfortably in your home away from home. Please bring your own body soap and shampoo. We do supply hand soap, dish soaps, laundry detergents, bleach and fabric softener. We supply towels, hand towels, beach towels, wash cloths, dish towels and all the linens you might need. We have some nice beach equipment too that includes beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, buckets & sand toys, umbrellas and a cooler. The beach is close too and only tow blocks or a couple of minutes. We also have a garage available that we use for secured lockable storage if you need something locked up.

Beaches in Carlsbad: Carlsbad beaches are really nice and the main reason most of us travel here or live here. The climate is of the most temperate in the world with most days in the winter in the 60's . We have great surfing for experts and some great places for beginners to learn too. Boogie boarding is so much fun as is swimming , body surfing, playing Frisbee, taking a nice long walk barefoot along the sand or enjoying a beautiful California sunset. So how warm is the water? November to April 57 to 60 degrees April -May 61to 66 degrees summer 68 to 74 degrees.

San Diego Attractions.: Here's some drive times for attractions. Lego Land 5 min, Zoo and Sea World about 30 min, Downtown San Diego and San Diego Harbor 35 min, Wild Animal Park 40 minutes, Temecula wine tours 50 minutes, Mexico 60 miles ( mui loco), Chargers and Padres about 35 minutes, observatory 1 hour, apple country more then an hour, there's a lot of good golfing close by including Torrey Pines 20 min, La Costa 10 min, New Carlsbad Resort 5 min and we have a lagoon in Carlsbad that has Jet Ski rentals, water skiing and wake boarding.

Other Activities: Lego Land, Oceanside Pier, Malls, Good Golfing, Great Surfing , boogie boarding, Ocean Kayaks, Surf Lessons, Boarkwalk along the ocean
