Carlsbad is a very nice coastal town the runs along approx 8 miles of beautiful sand beaches and coastline. The highlight and best place to stay is in the Village. Vacation Rentals in Carlsbad Village are nice, because you can do many things as a family or group and because of the location of the cottage it's nice to do your own thing too yet still be close to everyone. Carlsbad Village has over 40 restaurants, coffee shops, great breakfast places, pubs, ladies salons, great shopping, 3 surf shops and many more other shops to discover every day. We're 2 blocks from the train station and the beach is 2 short blocks where you can lay in the sun, build a sand castle, go surfing or take a nice walk down the boardwalk along the ocean which extends for about 2 miles and the sea wall trail for 1 mile. The cottage is brand new inside, has a nice size private grassy yard as you can see in the photo. The unit is very comfortable and we keep especially clean.

We're located less then 1 block from the Village and 2 short blocks from the sand/surf of our amazing beaches. Carlsbad Village offers over 40 different kinds of restaurants, surf shops, coffee shops, ice cream , frozen yogurt, dancing, live music, pubs, restaurant/bars, clothing, shopping, pizza/brewery , , antique area on State street with nice shops, ups store, grocery stores, music stores and too many other wonderful shops to list that await your discovery. The is Cottage is in the center of it all so you can choose not to drive for your entire stay as many guests do. There are many close attractions including Lego Land 5 min, Sea World & Zoo 30 min, Willd Animal Park 40 min, Downtown San Diego & Airport 35 min, many nice golf courses and many other activities depending on your interests.

  • This is a full bathroom with tub /shower. I completely remodeled the bathroom new this year, so it's very nice and I keep the places super clean which you will notice upon your check in. The linens are white, I include all of the towels you will need including shower towels, hand towels, wash cloths dish towels and I make sure that everyone has a nice beach towel should you need one. I take very good care of the linens, so they are like new, clean and soft. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, the bathroom comes with hand soap and toilet paper. Sorry we don't supply body soap or shampoo everyone likes something different. We also have a place to rinse off after the beach in your private yard. There's also a bunch of cleaning supplies under the sink in case the kids are a little messy and you need to clean up a bit.

  • The bedroom is spacious and has a nice and very comfortable Queen bed. One of the sofas in the main room pulls out into a queen very easily as well and is nicely comfortable. We also have a futon pad with bedding if you need an extra place to sleep. I take really really good care of all the linens and towels, very clean, like new and very soft as well. We have all of the bedding you need and some extra things should you need them. All of the couches and beds are new along with everything else. This is one of the nicest and cleanest vacation rentals in Carlsbad Village with a good location.

Notes: The Cottage is very nice and has pretty much everything you need to enjoy yourself comfortably away from home. We have all of the towels, linens, soaps, tp, paper towels . There's a washing machine and dryer and I supply all of the detergents, bleach and fabric softener. You can use it all day but it's nice not to use it after 10pm because of the other guests who also wish it to be peaceful in the evenings. The kitchen is really nice, clean and have pretty much everything you need to cook a wonderful meal in your home away from home. It's a full kitchen , wine glasses, pots, pans, micro, coffee maker/filters....pretty much everything you need in a full kitchen. We have a ton of beach supplies, boogie boards, beach chairs beach towels, buckets, toys and umbrellas. We will be adding some great learning surfboards for this coming summer which will be nice for everyone, especially the kids.

Carlsbad Beach and Ocean: Carlsbad beaches are really nice and the main reason most of us travel here or live here. The climate is of the most temperate in the world with most days in the winter in the 60's . We have great surfing for experts and some great places for beginners to learn too. Boogie boarding is so much fun as is swimming , body surfing, playing frisbee, taking a nice long walk barefoot along the sand or enjoying a beautiful California sunset. So how warm is the water? November to April 57 to 60 degrees April -May 61to 66 degrees summer 68 to 74 degrees.
