Villa Blanca is a beautifully restored six unit vacation rental apartment complex in a safe, tranquil, garden like setting steps to the beach and boardwalk. All of the apartments are named after world famous beaches. Our 'Catalina' apartment is bright and sunny with spectacular white water ocean views. You can hear the waves and smell the surf! Newly remodeled with brand new appliances, furniture, wood floors....this spacious one bedroom, second floor, apartment is charming with bright red/grey/black decorator furnishing and art. The large galley kitchen is fully equipped for making a gourmet meal or simply packing a picnic lunch for the beach. The grounds of the building contain a barbecue area and outdoor shower with beach toys and boogie boards. This upscale, family friendly neighborhood is a minute walk from every restaurant cuisine you can imagine, plus shopping, grocery stores, bars and all the boardwalk activities. Freeway access to all San Diego attractions is nearby.

If you're planning a family reunion, wedding, corporate event or are traveling with multiple friends or family members Villa Blanca is a perfect alternative to a larger house or hotel. The entire vacation complex can accommodate up to 20 adults plus children. The complex consists of two large buildings. Building one has two apartment on the second floor...a one bedroom/one bath and a two bedroom/one bath. The ground floor is the same..both floors have shared porches and ocean views. You'll enjoy the two local farmers markets and the fantastic grocery stores just minutes awe. San Diego's best attractions...Seaworld, the famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and La Jolla are all a short drive. Public transportation is easily accessible just around the corner. It's hard to believe that you can smell the ocean and hear the waves in this safe, and tranquil setting yet be so close to the attractions and night life in San Diego's beach communities.

Romantic, wonderful seaside vacation!

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful flat, and it was one of our favorite vacations ever! We had coffee on the front porch every morning watching the waves of the Pacific Ocean crashing on the shore. The location is great - so close to the beach (steps away) and bars, restaurants and clubs, - yet it's on a very tranquil and quiet street. The management was very accomodating. The flat itself was pristine and very, very cute, and included everything we needed. Five stars for sure! We'll be back as soon as we can.

Wonderful, romantic seaside vacation!

My husband and I rented this wonderful flat just steps from the ocean and loved it! We had coffee on the proch every morning, watching the waves crashing on the shore. The location is great! It's so close to everything - restaurants, bars, clubs, - yet it's on a very tranquil, quiet street. The management is very nice and accomodating. The flat itself was pristine and very, very cute. Five stars for sure, and we'll be back as soon as we can!

great apartment and location!

There is not much to complain about here! The location was great, less than a block from the beach and about 5 until you're in the thick of PB. Quite neighborhood and parking was always available on the street. So much light comes into the apartement so close the blinds at night if you don't want to get up too early. Very clean and new...the porch is small but the furniture was nice to relax on and read a book/have a coffee/wine. The furniture was so new that we got little fuzzies everywhere from the towels and living room rug...which was the only downside although not really a big deal. All in all I would highly recommend this apartment!

Fun Location

If your looking to be right in the heart of the action, this is a great location. You can walk to everything. Stores, restaurants, bars, and beach you really don't need a car.
The beach and boardwalk are two blocks from the condo, and the boardwalk goes for miles it seems.
The condo is quaint and cozy and comes with a great BBQ.
Really the only minus is parking, we only had an issue once. It's street parking, so if its a hot summer day, good luck finding a parking spot.
Overall, good value for the price.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
Owner's Response: We so glad that these guests enjoyed the condo...it is very charming and cozy. I would just like to correct one comment. The location is fantastic and is less than 1/2 block to the beach. Literally just steps to the boardwalk and beach.
