Overall, this is a very nice rental property. The rooms are large and numerous. The master suite is very nice. The house is in good shape. The kitchen(s) were well-stocked with pots/pans/knives/silverware and some more specialized kitchen equipment which was helpful for making meals. Two full sized refrigerators in the house was a big plus. There was a nice sized gas grill on the upper deck. The beach in this part of Folly Beach seemed quiet and the view was great for a non-frontbeach property. It was great to have a pool, but it was really small and only functional for the kids. My main complaints would be mold in the showers and rust on the shower curtain rods. The house could also use an outdoor shower. There is a garden hose to wash off with, but I think the renters before us just got clean by dipping in the pool. There was also a sulfur (rotten egg) smell that permiated the house every day (usually worse in the morning) that we were never able to find a source for. The air conditioning was suboptimal on the lower level when we arrived, but the property management company was able to get someone out shortly after we called and got it working again. It was definitely a house we could consider renting again if we came back to Folly Beach.
