This two bedroom one bath getaway is located on a beautiful canal on an oversized lot for lots of privacy. The home has recently been renovated with new tile, painted and new window treatments. It has a large bright kitchen and a tropical living room done in a palm tree theme. There are two queen sized beds and a fold out queen sofa bed so the home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. There is a large lanai with a washer and dryer.
The kitchen has everything you need with microwave, coffee maker, dishes and linens provided.
Activities and Attractions:
St. James City is a small, charming fishing village with shops, marinas and restaurants. You will feel as if you are in Florida 50 years ago. By land or boat you can visit the village of Matlacha which is a quaint fishing village that hosts several art galleries and frequent art festivals. It is something you won't want to miss. Sanibel Island, Boca Grande, Ft. Myers Beach and Coyo Costa State Park are just minutes by boat. It takes about 10 minutes by boat to get to the gulf. By land you can visit the large 'Sun Splash' water park, the Shell Factory that has just about every type of entertainment you could imagine - even a zoo, and the Imaginarium museum.
Cape Coral has a large water park, the shell museum, science museum and lots of shopping. You will pass through a little town called Matlacha which connects Pine Island to Cape Coral. Matlacha is like a mini Key West. It has several art galleries, souvenir shops and restaurants surrounded by water on both sides. If you have a boat or decide to rent one there are endless activities for you at the surrounding islands.
This is a vacation you will want to return to year after year.
