You really cannot beat the location of the Park Avenue Condominiums, located beside the golf course, and walking distance from Payday, First Time and Eagle Lifts at Park City Mountain Resort. Cozily tucked away off of Park Avenue, you can walk to the local market, Starbucks, or some of the best Ski Shops in Park City, including Jan's and Cole Sport. There are 2 new shared hot tubs, and a heated pool and sauna located directly across from the unit. The Nordic track runs right past your door and world class golfing and skiing are steps away.

If you would like to explore the rest of Park City the free bus line stops steps from your front door, where you can easily get to The Canyons or Deer Valley Resort to experience the wide variety of ski and snowboarding terrain Park City offers. Historic Main Street is a quick bus ride or walk down Park Avenue, where you can stroll, eat, and shop to your hearts content. If chasing powder stashes in Jupiter Bowl is not enough to get your adrenaline going, the outlet Malls and beautiful new Redstone Village are only a bus ride away to soothe your inner shopaholic.

About The Owner

I purchased the 2 bedroom unit upstairs(78537) with my family in 2005 and we now manage this 1 bedroom unit for the owners downstairs. We live in Park City and love the beauty and peacefulness of Park City. It is a small city in the mountains without the crime and stress of a real city. It is paradise.

The location is unbeatable with everything out your doorstep. You can really walk to everything from these units.

What makes this condo unique

The skiing is great and now with the new Squatters brew pub, you can walk across the street and grab a beer or sandwich. We love the Municipal Golf Course as well. The pool is especiaally nice in the summer. Main St is also a just a short walk.

Family Ski Trip

Me, my wife and our two teenage sons (17, 15) had an outstanding and relatively economical ski vacation with Jeff''s condo as our base. The location was perfect, walking distance to Park City Resort. We rented our skis from the resort which had complimentary daily valet...no schlepping back and forth from the mountain with a comparable price to off-site rentals. With Fresh Market across the street, we ate at the condo and packed our own lunch saving big bucks. The Burger King kept our kids happy and the fopportunity for my wife and I to grab some dinner dates. The condo was exactly as advertised and though "cozy", the four of us did fine. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after a day on the slopes. I would definitely come back!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great location!

This condo was perfect for 2 people. We were in Park City for 4 nights. It was in a great location for all of the ski areas(short distance by car or for catching the local bus). The condo appears exactly as the photos shown. No surprises. It is very cozy with a nice gas fireplace and main sitting area. The kitchen has all you need to cook meals there. The bed is comfortable and bedroom has lots of closet space. Bathroom is nice. The place was very clean and had plenty of bath towels. There is a covered place to park your car. The security code lock was very convenient and easy to use. I would recommend this property to anyone. Jeff,the owner was very helpful and answered his phone very promptly. He was very timely in getting emails out and answering any questions.
The condo is very close to downtown Park City where we went every evening after skiing. We would highly recommend 501 Main St, Silver,Squatters, and Shabu for dinner. The No Name Saloon & Grill was nice for drinks and socializing. It was also great to have the Fresh Market right across the street from the condo. Overall a great place and location!

Good value and great location for Park City area

We were staying in Park City over the Holidays and wanted something centrally located to ski all three resorts. The listing details and pictures are accurate, and Jeff was very easy to deal with and responsive to our questions. He also provided a number of recommendations that we found useful. The condo was a good size for two, and the complex was very quiet, even for the holiday. Wi-fi, cable tv, etc all in order. The price was a good value, even with the holiday premium.

The Fresh Market (grocery) being across the street was very handy. The Park City transit does stop outside the unit (on Park Ave), but if you are heading to Main St we found the service better to walk 1/2 block down Park towards town (crossing the light) to get more frequent service.

Park City resort is walkable from the unit, as the end of the condo complex is right at the closest parking lot. We also took the shuttle to Deer Valley, which was the easiest way to get there. We did drive to Canyons, but it was early and were able to park next to the Cabriolet lift.

Not part of the review, we stopped at Penny Ann's Cafe in Salt Lake on our way to the airport for breakfast, and the pancakes were top notch.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

Great Condo, Awesome Location

We have been coming to Park City for years and we decided to come alone without the kids this year. We wanted a good bargain and a great location walking distance to everything. This condo fulfilled all those needs. It is very cozy with a gas fireplace and fresh carpet and paint. The bed has a down comforter and was very comfortable. the heated pool and hot tubs were right across from the unit which was very convenient. The ski slopes, shopping and dining were all steps a away. A+

Our stay in Feb 2012

Condo was in an awesome location. Keyless lock is a great idea. The owner has done an admirable job trying to update it (new stove, dishwasher, microwave and nice furniture) but it is an old place. The bed was very comfy. The pull out couch had a really good mattress. Covered parking was great! Jeff from east west was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. For a one bedroom the living area was good, but you had to eat at the counter. There was no dining area. The bathroom was the biggest drawback. It is small and the hard water has done a number on the plumbing. The water did not flow properly out of the faucet or the shower head. Also, we ran out of hot water on numerous occassions. Since it is contiguous to Park Ave there is a street light in the Burger King parking lot that shines directly into the living area and on to the pull out couch all night. The window above the slider should be covered. Also the hallway light from the unit above this one (318) shines directly into the bedroom. If the people above go in the hallway early you wake up. Overall it's a three star place. Great location, great owner, but the unit is old and needs to get the plumbing fixed and the light from the upper unit and street resolved.

Thanks for your review. We do appreciate your feedback on the stay. We remodeled the bathroom as it was definitely time. We put travertine tile on the floor, a new shower tub unit and a Koehler pedestal sink in. Please see the new pictures. The light issue is pretty easy as their is a switch to turn the outdoor light on and off in the hallway. Hopefully you will come see us again.
