Skala village is just a 15 minute walk from Villa Sakos, where you will find restaurants, bars, food shopping, gift shops, car rentals, water sport activities.

I recently stayed at villa sakos in the summer of 2009. I was very impressed with the villas. It was the most relaxing and breathtaking vacation. The villa was spotless.We had a beautful spacious apartment overlooking the ocean. The swimming pool was crystal clear. The landscaping was phenomenal. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owners are very caring and we had the best service.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful vacation

Excellent living with good personal service. Hostess and maid made us feel taken care of in all matters. Lovely setting with endless view. The pool made vacation with four kids easy. Good restaurants with local food and reasonable prices within walking distance. We especially recommend the family ran taverna "Old times" and the gyros restaurant close to the main street (next to the internet cafe Bonnie and Clyde, where we were compensated for the lack of promised internet connection in the house) Nice beaches near and far.No turtles to be seen in June however. We especially enjoyed Katelios. To reach attractions like the Meliisani lake you need a car. To reach the monasteries on the mountains i.e. Sami a car isn't enough - you need good walking shoes and/or lots of patience. Shopping and night life mighnt not be so hot, but that was more of a pro than a con to us.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
