POCONO CHALET

This house was exactly what we were looking for! It is set off the beaten path and close to the slopes.

Everything from the front porch to the fireplace made it the perfect escape for a ski weekend. It was warm and welcoming, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Gwen and her hospitality really shined through and made this one of the easiest and memorable Pocono retreats we have done.

There is a supermarket right down the road, and it's really only 5 minutes to Big Boulder, which is open until 10 pm. That meant that we could hit the slopes, come home for dinner, and head right back out. It was truly an exceptional vacation and I'm positive that we'll be renting from Gwen and her family again!

I recently rented Gwen's lovely Poconos Chalet and must say that it was an amazing retreat!

It was semi-secluded which was perfect since I was staying a large part of the time by myself. I felt safe that I cold see my neighbors through the trees; however, I still felt it was my own private little get away. It was very quiet, had lovely foliage, and there were deer and wild turkeys everywhere!

The house itself was comfortable, clean, and came equipped with everything that I needed. I was able to take nice strolls through the 'neighborhood' and especially loved the quaint beach within walking distance.

I was also able to take advantage of the gorgeous state park that's just around the corner.

Not only was the chalet and location perfect, Gwen is a very nice person who made me feel extremely comfortable with my rental decision.

I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and plan to return in the future.

We stayed at the cabin for a weekend in the winter and really had a great time. All of the major activities were nearby- snow mobiling, skiiing, snow tubing, etc. The cabin is comfortable, all of the kitchen supplies provided, firewood available. We are now returning for a spring/summer vacation to use the grill and enjoy it once again! We have white water rafting, shooting range, and atvs booked this time around. This cabin is both comfortable and affordable. Very excited to return- thank you Gwen!
