Photos and Description of the Bobon vacation cottage rental
2- Bedroom + Sleeping Porch, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

Our cottage is located on the island of Samar, 5000 miles west of Hawaii, and one of the 7,107 islands of the Philippine Archipelago- and the 3rd largest of the group. We live in a gated community called Paradise Village, on a 1600 sq. meter piece of land within a haven of coconut trees, and right on the water.

Paradise Village is a community with several foreigners, most having Filipina wives, and who now live either full time, or have made their homes a vacation home and who visit regularly, or have made a home to prepare themselves for future retirement . On the island, we do it, island style!

additional needs and advice list: We have an additional few pages of what i call Needs and Advice to help you with getting to and from our place, and some needs you may want to bring- if interested, we will send this to you when you inquire.

Also please note that maximum occupancy for this unit is 4 persons, and, sorry but we cannot allow smoking in our home and on the property, although, if you note in the pics, you will see some Gazebo's out on the common property for our Guests to use, and you may smoke there.....

The Surroundings?: Paradise Village sits amongst thousands of coconut trees, a haven of coco's, and our Cottage is beach front, facing north so you can see the island of Luzon across the famous San Bernadino Strait, and on clear days, you can even see the Great Smoking Mt. Mayon Volcano-

Since we are open to the Philippine Sea, there is also surf (see enclosed pics).

Your entertainment will be the stars at nite, with long walks on secluded beaches, and perhaps a short walk down to the bbr where you can have a cold beverage, listen to some tunes, and watch a beautiful sunset- perhaps even strike up a conversation with a few of the locals who have discovered Samar, and who even have left their former lives in the western world, for a quieter, simpler way of life, down on our island -- sorry, no t.v. down on our island-
