Our Venice, Florida vacation home is at the end of a cul-de-sac across a lake from the 4th fairway of the Jacaranda West Country Club. You can enjoy these relaxing views from under the palms in our private back yard, while floating in the pool or sipping cocktails in the lanai.

Venice is a charming vacation wonderland, with enough beaches, gardens, boutique shopping, golf courses, acclaimed local theatre and nearby theme parks that you may actually be tempted away from our Florida oasis. Boaters will revel in the proximity to the intercoastal waterway, the Gulf of Mexico and the nautical ambiance of Roberts Bay. Whether strolling Venice's historic downtown, watching a spectacular sunset or searching for sharks' teeth on the pristine soft-sand beach, you can't go wrong in Venice.

Our recently renovated, spacious home is an ideal home base for your Florida vacation on the temperate Gulf Coast. The 2,100 square-foot home has a lanai and pool cage enclosing a large solar-heated pool. Sliding glass doors throughout recess into the walls to bring outdoor living inside. The master bedroom suite and two spacious guest bedrooms each have a queen bed and plenty of closet space. The house features a newly furnished great room with fireplace, newly furnished living room with hardwood floors, dining room, well equipped, bright kitchen, breakfast nook, inside large laundry room, and two car garage.

All the comforts and conveniences of home make your vacation experience complete, including bikes, TV with DVD and VHS, Internet access. The huge Venice YMCA, Jacaranda library, and a mini-mall are within walking distance. Jacaranda West Country Club offers seasonal memberships for golf and tennis aficionados.

About The Owner

We fell in love with Venice when visiting nearby family and vowed to retire here. When we found the perfect home, we decided to buy and share it with you on the rental market. We have enjoyed every minute of Florida home ownership with our high school age daughter and extended families. In fact, it is such a terrific and relaxing locale that we make the trip from Oregon quite often.

Why The Owner chose Plantation

My grandfather lived in the area years ago, and my aunt and uncle live here now. It's a great place to visit and we definitely want to live here!! Unfortunately, the pictures shown here do not show the beauty of the house. We plan on using a professional with a real camera to give you a more accurate picture very soon.

Our own oasis!

This is our fourth time visiting this lovely, private oasis. We don't even want to leave to go to the beach!
We do go though and it's only ten minutes away. Hunting for shark's teeth is one of our favorite pastimes.
Cycling into Venice is a breeze; we enjoy the quaint shops and delicious food.
We plan to come back for many years to come!
