Tahkwa (wild geranium) is a beautiful log cabin nestled among the trees on 220 feet of Wenatchee River waterfront, near the town of Plain, WA. The cabin sits on 1.2 acres of lodge pole pine trees and combines the charm of a classic log home with the latest in amenities. The open apple orchard beside the cabin allows for sun-soaked games or open space for throwing a baseball or snow balls! Enjoy grilling on the patio or sitting in the hot tub while listening to the rush of the river.

The expansive great room welcomes friends, families, or business groups. Whether you come for quiet relaxation or outdoor adventure, or a little of both, your stay is guaranteed to be what you are looking for. Christmas at the Lodge

Couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to spend Christmas. Our family has been dreaming of a white Christmas in the mountains for as long as I can remember. And to top it off, this lodge is gorgeous!! Thank you, thank you! Feeling so lucky to spend this time together, the only downside is going home.

A perfect lodge

What a perfect lodge in a beautiful setting with perfect weather. We love the long table, and the carved bear outside. The kitchen is beautiful-so new and clean. In fact everything is clean and neat. We love the pictures of the doe and fawn. The old ski's and snow shoes, sleds and tools add a lot. the laundry area is a real plus as well. We walked down to the river and played in the water. The hot tub is GREAT! Thanks so much for all the warm and personal touches!

Another great stay!

We have just concluded our eighth consecutive visit here. Tahkwa has become a very valuable family tradition. We are eight adults and six children (ages 15 mo to 10 years). While the snow was less than in previous years, it did not inhibit snow play. Featured activities this year were "construction" projects of two igloos and a ramp for sledding. The igloos were a major project which provided the adults with plenty of exercise. On Saturday the whole group went sledding at Lake Wenatchee State Park. Most importantly, there were endless hours of family fun and togetherness. As always, great food was a major contributor to the joy of the time here. We all return home with very pleasant memories of another beautiful stay at Natapoc.

Holidays at the Lodge

This was my first trip to stay at your lodge but it will not be my last. We all thoroughly enjoyed the lodge, so roomy, everything we needed and I especially loved the Christmas tree and decor. What a beautiful place you have here on the Wenatchee River.

The river is so beautiful!

Thank you for the lovely Tahkwa cabin! It is so comfortable and you've thought of everything! The river is so beautiful, it was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub and listen to the sound of the water. We hope to be back soon.
